Donald Miller said, "If we are tired of life, what we're really tired of is the story we are living inside of." Today we are talking about the stories we tell, and how we aren't always the most accurate narrators of our life's experience. I'll give you three ideas that you can start using today to become the editor of your stories and a more intentional creator in your life!
This week, in anticipation of Easter, we're talking about why the teachings of Jesus Christ are much more than just a nice idea or good suggestion. Learning about the Savior and nurturing His attributes within ourselves can have profound psychological, emotional, spiritual, and even physical benefits. Accepting His invitation to align ourselves with His thoughts, feelings, and actions gives us the power to change not just our natures, but every aspect of our lives.
What do you think of when you hear the word "extraordinary?" Today we are diving into what it means to create a truly extraordinary life, and why the little choices we make each day matter not just for the quality of our lives in the here and now, but on into the eternities.
Tony Robbins said "Change happens when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change." As a Life Coach, people come to me when they're looking to make adjustments in their lives. They're tired of feeling stuck in the same old habits and patterns, and are ready to move forward and improve their relationships, their confidence, their health, their spirituality, or any other part of their life's experience. In today's episode, I help you understand your desires for change, and teach you how to go about making incremental shifts in your thinking that will help you create positive changes in any area of your life.
Today we are exploring the topic of identity! We talk about what it is, why it's important, and what part you have in uncovering your true identity. Most importantly, we discuss how living in your true identity as a child of God will not only help you reach your eternal potential, but affects your everyday habits, feelings, interactions, and attitudes.
When we hear the phrase "God's will," many of us picture God sitting up in Heaven watching us, just waiting to see whether or not our choices will perfectly align with some specific plan He's laid out for us. But in today's episode I present a little shift in perspective that can help us show up more fully in our lives, and use our agency to become the conscious participants and creators of our earth life experience that He intends us to be.
Today we're diving into why our beliefs have such a big impact on the way we experience our lives, and how some of the beliefs we acquired when we were younger might not be serving us now. I also give you three tips on how to help you in your own journey of choosing and creating beliefs that better serve you AND those you love. Enjoy!
The beliefs we hold are essentially conclusions we’ve drawn and “rules” we’ve established about ourselves, about others, and about how the world works. Some of these beliefs serve us well, but some can hold us back and make us feel confused, anxious or insecure. Today we're talking about how being willing to be wrong about some of your most deeply held beliefs, just might be the secret to getting unstuck and creating a life you love!
Today we're talking about the difference between personal and circumstantial power, and how easily we can give our power to think, feel, and act away to things happening outside of us. Come find out how stepping into you personal power, instead of waiting for circumstances to change, can lead you to an exceptional life!
The scriptures tell us that "men are they they might have joy." But if God intended us to have joy, why does it sometimes feel so elusive and hard to come by? Today we explore the concept of joy, and why cultivating it in our own lives, even in the midst of sadness and suffering, not only helps us to live lives of love and intention, but adds much needed light and goodness to the world around us.
