Liliana's is a first-generation Mexican-American Latina, a small business owner, a dedicated school-based SLP, and a proud bilingual parent and wife, all while holding her roots, culture, and heritage language close to her heart.
She finds joy in sharing her journey as a Latina SLP and bilingual mom, connecting with other SLP educators and parents. Her expertise shines in her work with children facing communication disorders, particularly among bilingual English and Spanish speakers, as well as multilingual individuals.
Liliana dedicates herself full-time to the Chicago public school system and also heads up Bilingual Speechie LLC, a small business with a big mission. Bilingual Speechie is all about providing inclusive and engaging speech therapy resources and activities for bilingual kids, parents, SLPs, and educators.
