In this week’s episode, we have a mind and heart expanding conversation with Tara Behr covering childhood trauma, psychedelics and Christianity.
Tara is a psychotherapist, poet, writer, and singer-songwriter based in Colorado Springs. In addition to working with men, women, and couples who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma, Tara writes poetry and essays on radical feminism, interpersonal phenomenology, animism, Christian mysticism, and psychedelic-assisted therapy.
Tara's life has been dedicated to the discovery of what supports human flourishing and what prevents it. She believes it is our birthright to be connected to freedom, compassion, self-love, and people who respect, honour, and mirror you in your goodness. As a survivor of psychedelic abuse, Tara brings a nuanced and balanced view to the conversation around psychedelic assisted therapy.
The heart points Tara shares in this episode:
- Psychedelics will not save you or the world, but love will.
- Singing our song of truth is the deepest medicine
- You are a sacred being of divine light, not a problem to be fixed.
Join us as we explore these points and so much more, this a soul nourishing conversation we know you will enjoy.
