During WWII, one general's callus disregard for the air force, nearly cost us the war in Japan. What we learn through this event, changes how we view the spiritual warfare every believer is called to participate in. What is air superiority in the spiritual world? A mission has no value until or unless it impacts the world in a positive way. The Church's mission must bring people to know Christ. If it fails in that quest, it's purpose has failed. Today, we talk about the mission as defined by Jesus in a parable from Matthew 25.

God has called us to be his church - literally, "called-out ones." No one gets to heaven by themselves!

This second part of our series centers on the first aspect of our mission at Motion Church: Connecting with God. Jesus had a unique way of calling people alongside himself. The four spiritual laws, popular in the past century, was an evangelistic tool that led many to Christ. It became less useful when people made it a formula and forgot the most important feature of connecting with God: relationship. Today's sermon is designed to help you assist others in establishing an intimate relationship with God.

The famous movie Apollo 13 (1995) starring Tom Hanks was a painstakingly accurate version of what happened to that crew during their ill-fated journey.
