Here, I talk with Lenoria 💄 Addison,  entrepreneur, friend, and founder of Cazza about her experiences in kinship and how moving a lot as a kid and not always feeling “home” creates a sense of adventure and exploration that cannot be ignored later in life. We discussed creating a “home“, living in Los Angeles, and learning to appreciate how our childhood experiences have led us to explore new cities, new countries, new people, and new dimensions of self.

After a bit of delay, I want to introduce the first official episode of the MVG Podcast.  This was recorded in April of 2019. Bi-weekly, I will release episodes and walk you through my entrepreneurial journey, childhood experiences, and life in South Africa. 

 

In LA, I struggled to build my avocado product business and it forced me to grow and heal. I needed to commit to boxing with Gift Davis/ hot yoga and support from loved ones, my clients, and tribe in LA kept me going during the difficult moments. 

 

Our guest, Gift Davis, is a phenomenal human, artist (painting and tattoos) that lives what he preaches. He is an inspiration to many artists in LA, his murals are throughout the city of LA and his work and life's work/message has transformed many lives internally and externally throughout the globe.

MVG was created as a testimony to the experiences faced by our Founder, Megan V. Green and how she has worked hard to heal, sustain happiness and build confidence. Many of these changes were a result of her natural hair journey, many relocations and a lifestyle shift.
