Could one simple tablespoon of apple cider vinegar a day make a difference in your health? In this video, Dr. Alan Mandell explains what the science says about apple cider vinegar and how it may help support healthier blood sugar, appetite control, digestion, metabolic health, and overall wellness when used correctly. You'll learn why timing matters, the best way to take it, why drinking it straight is a mistake, how it may help reduce cravings, improve fullness after meals, and support healthy eating habits. We'll also discuss who should avoid apple cider vinegar, important safety precautions, and why consistency is far more important than taking larger amounts. Remember, apple cider vinegar is not a miracle cure, but when combined with a nutritious diet, regular exercise, quality sleep, stress management, and other healthy lifestyle habits, it can become another valuable tool to help you achieve better long-term health. Watch until the end to learn exactly how to use it safely and effectively so you can get the greatest potential benefits. As always, consult your healthcare provider before making significant dietary changes, especially if you have diabetes, kidney disease, stomach ulcers, severe acid reflux, or take medications that affect blood sugar. Stay healthy, my friends!

If your feet or hands burn, tingle, buzz, feel numb, or feel like pins and needles, your nerves may be trying to tell you something important. These symptoms can happen for many reasons, including blood sugar problems, insulin resistance, vitamin B12 deficiency, poor circulation, nerve compression, inflammation, thyroid issues, medication effects, or diabetic peripheral neuropathy. In this video, Dr. Mandell explains how nerves depend on healthy blood flow, oxygen, nutrients, and mitochondrial energy to function properly, and why elevated blood sugar and oxidative stress can irritate and damage delicate nerve tissue over time. You’ll also learn about alpha-lipoic acid, a powerful antioxidant nutrient that has been studied for supporting nerve health, mitochondrial energy production, glucose metabolism, and symptoms of diabetic nerve discomfort. Commonly discussed supplemental amounts are often around 300 to 600 mg daily, but always speak with your healthcare provider first, especially if you take diabetes medication, blood sugar medication, thyroid medication, or have any medical condition. This video also covers why you should not ignore burning feet, tingling hands, numb toes, pins and needles, or strange nerve sensations, and why finding the root cause is always more important than simply covering up symptoms. Your body is not betraying you—it is communicating with you. Listen early, take action, and support your nerves naturally.

Thick, yellow, brittle, or hard-to-cut toenails are not always just a cosmetic problem. In this video, Dr. Mandell explains why toenails may become thick, yellow, curved, brittle, distorted, or difficult to trim as we age, and why these changes should not be ignored. While toenail fungus is a common cause, it is not the only reason nails change. Thick yellow toenails may also be related to repeated pressure from tight shoes, trauma to the nail bed, poor foot hygiene, excess moisture, reduced circulation, blood sugar problems, inflammation, psoriasis, eczema, aging, or other health conditions affecting the feet and nails. You’ll learn simple steps that may help create a healthier environment around the nail, including soaking the feet in warm water to soften thick nails, drying thoroughly between the toes, using diluted tea tree oil or diluted oregano oil carefully, rotating shoes, wearing clean moisture-wicking socks, choosing shoes with a wider toe box, walking daily, moving the ankles and toes, massaging the feet, and supporting nail health with proper nutrition. Healthy nails need protein, zinc, iron, biotin, vitamins, minerals, and good blood flow to grow properly. Toenails grow slowly, so consistency is important. If a nail suddenly becomes dark, painful, lifts from the nail bed, changes rapidly, or if you have diabetes, poor circulation, or a weakened immune system, always seek professional evaluation. Your toenails may be giving you important clues about your overall health, so don’t just cover them up—listen to what they may be telling you.
