Ben Hempstead is a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry by day and on the weekends, you will find him out rallycrossing his electronic Baja beetle. The beetle started out as a project to work on with his kids and now it's both a daily driver and a race vehicle that the family shares.

Brandon Burgler is the co-owner of the Car Spa, an automotive repair shop in Bellevue, WA. More importantly, he’s an excellent rallycross driver that is currently leading the Stock All Wheel Drive championship.
In this episode, he talks us through the basics that everyone needs to know about prepping their car for a race. We go through the basic checkpoints, when to work with a shop vs. doing it yourself and how to make sure your tires are holding up. Brandon’s approach is very laid back and we talk about being willing to get your hands dirty without fear of making a mistake.
Brandon shares so much great information from oil selection to how to make your own skid plate. His experience as a racer and a technician make him the best rallycross mechanical advisor you could ask for!

British Rally driver and Red Bull Athlete, Catie Munnings, is a talented rally driver with an interesting and fun story about how she got started in the sport. What really comes through in her interview is how hardworking and dedicated to the sport she is, even all the unglamorous parts of the job that take place outside of the car.
We talk about how to manage your mindset and give yourself tools to be successful, identifying what it is that sets you apart and will make you more attractive to sponsors and all about the upcoming Extreme E series (which is SO COOL - you have to check it out).

Victor Bellotto is a professional co-driver that was driven from a young age to bring a career in motorsports to life. He has a tremendous amount of passion for the sport and has experience in all different kinds of racing. Dave Carapetyan is the owner of Rally Ready Driving School just outside of Austin, TX. After stumbling on Rally as a teenager when he was trying to make it in as a musician, Dave took a swing at racing and discovered that his real passion was teaching.
