“Follow Me” means: I once was sick but now Jesus is healing me. The church is a hospital. Follow me means that I am invited to reach out to those Jesus assigns. The church is hospitable.

The church is a hospital, designed to be hospitable to those who are spiritually sick.

Jesus is not interested in spectators. Jesus wants followers who are committed to do life with Him.

Jesus is not interested in spectators, he is looking for those who are willing to live life with him.

Jesus calls us to follow Him. That means doing life being led by Jesus. To follow Jesus results in a new life purpose. To follow Jesus means letting go of “everything”.

In our first sermon in the "Follow Me" series, we looked at the call to discipleship and saw that by answering a Jesus calling gives our life a new purpose.

James 2:1-9 encouraged us to be open to all people regardless of their tribe.

Didi's prayer was "Help me Lord to have the courage, patience, and grace to read the book after I have formed an opinion about the cover."

We looked at Galatians 6:1-2 and saw that burdens are lightened when shared with a friend who loves like Jesus.

We looked at Matthew 6:19-21 and 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 and saw that to be open with our stuff is to place my heart in God's mission.
