in chapter 3 of does God stand with Israel, deal with a question who is true Israel or what is a true Jew and I go through scripture showing that it is people of faith with a spiritual lineage back to Abraham and has nothing to do with a physical DNA lineage.

Spiritual Lineage vs. Physical Lineage:
The people claimed to be children of Abraham (John 8:39) and therefore assumed they were in right standing with God. However, Jesus clarified that true children of Abraham would do the works of Abraham—faith and obedience to God (John 8:39-40). Their actions, characterized by lies, rejection of truth, and a desire to kill Jesus, reflected a different spiritual lineage.
2.The Devil’s Characteristics:
Jesus describes the devil as a murderer from the beginning and the father of lies (John 8:44). By rejecting the truth and seeking to harm Jesus, they were displaying the devil’s traits—deception, hostility toward God, and resistance to truth.
3.Moral and Spiritual Alignment:
Jesus emphasizes that spiritual parentage is determined by behavior and belief, not physical descent. Their rejection of Jesus and alignment with lies and violence revealed their spiritual alignment with the devil, not with God.
Meaning:
Jesus is pointing out that their actions and unbelief are not aligned with God, despite their claims to be His people. Instead, their behavior aligns with the devil, who opposes God’s truth and work. This stark statement calls attention to the importance of spiritual integrity and alignment with God through faith and truth, rather than relying on heritage or outward appearances.

In this episode, I finish chapter 1 of my book, does God stand with Israel, and we learned that the New Testament interprets the Old Testament when it comes to the mysteries of the Old Testament. I show that Jesus in Luke 24 anoints his disciples which become the writers of the New Testament, that they fully understand how the law Moses, the prophets, and the psalms speak of Jesus, the Messiah, and how Jesus fulfill all the promises and prophecies of the Old Testament. And then I show in first Peter and Ephesians how they were given the mystery of the Old Testament and I’ve handed that down to us today so we are fully understanding the Old Testament and it’s prophecies and promises.
