Condemned No More
Identity in Christ 
Romans 8:1-4

Main Thought
We are made free from condemnation through the cross of Jesus Christ.

How to live under the new law of the Spirit:

1.Reject the constant lie of the enemy that you are condemned. 
2.Use your new freedom to serve God and not yourself.
3.Quit trying and start resting in what Jesus did on the cross. 

We should speak words that build up and encourage people versus tear down our relationships.

How to express words that build people up:

1.    Deal with and put away anger soon. Ecclesiastes 7:9 

2.    Put a guard on your mouth to stop negative communication.

3.    Speak words that connect your relationships.

Growth in Groups

Small groups are an opportunity to not only gather as the church but to be the church in the community and to our neighbors.

How to experience spiritual mentorship in small groups:

1.     Meet regularly outside of Sunday morning.  Hebrew 10:24-25

2.     Unify around the teaching of God's Word.         2 Timothy 3:16-17 

3.     Have an outward focused mindset.

A mentor defined: a person with experience who teaches, advises, and supports someone with less experience over a time period to help them develop.

2. Be intentional about learning your Bible. 2 Timothy 2:15

3. Invest in others the things you have learned. 2 Timothy 2:2
