Natalie Tennant, a WV native, was born in Fairmont. Educated at WVU, (where she earned a BA in Journalism and a MA in Communication), she served the Secretary of State - the chief elections officer - of WV from 2009 to 2017. After this tenure, she became the Manager of State Advocacy at the Brennan Center for Justice from 2017-2019. She continues to advocate for the American voter, especially those here in WV.
