Another film from my collection to review, this is another Rob's Rewind. Keeping up with the holiday spirit I am reviewing one of my favorite films of all times - A Nightmare Before Christmas. Joining me is Brad from the cinema guys as we celebrate this holiday hybrid film. We discuss our favorite characters, songs, lines and much more. Is this Tim Burton's best creation. Is this film more of a Halloween movie or Christmas movie? Did Hocus Pocus get screwed because of this movie? We discuss that and more.

Digging up an old review from back in the day. In fact, this was the last review i recorded before hearing about the pandemic. My last review where my guest for the review were in person with me. So not only are we reviewing a film to see if it holds up, ill be listening to a review to see if what we said still holds up. I along with two other friends revisit Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit just a month short of its 28th anniversary. Let's join the sisters in song and revisit a new generation of singers to form a new choir. Since I own this film, I will also be checking to see if this movie stays on my shelf or get tossed.

Here is another contender for the shelf. A film in my collection goes under the magnifying lens to see if it holds up since its release in 1996. One of my favorite films, Daylight is being reviewed again. Can Sly bring us joy from his early days from today's audience? Brad from The Cinema Guys is here to help as it is a rewatch from him. Listen to our fun conversation and we relive 90's action goodness and will this film score high enough to stay on my shelf? Enjoy our latest episode in this week's Rob's Rewind.

Say his MOTHERFUCKING NAME but not 5x or that's your ass. One of the scariest films of all times and my favorite horror film of all times is finally being reviewed during movie club, Candyman from 1992. I am joined by Nate who is a big fan of film as well and we remind those who have not seen this film why it shouldn't be overlooked and why its so good that someone almost 30 years later felt that the story needed to be expanded. We even touch on the latest installment if it managed to dismantle a classic or enhance the original.

For the month of Oct. we are giving you two horror films to keep you warm at night. First up is an anthology flick giving you four terrifying tales that ask the question which is scarier, the things that go bump in the night or the real life horrors of being a black person in today's world. Along with my friend Nate, we review "Tales From The Hood" 1995. Brought back to life from the vault. This review almost recorded 2yrs ago has been revived for your listening pleasure.

As you heard from our last episode. Noah was reminded of his favorite movie "Pleasantville" and I made a point that i would love to see how that movie holds up. We made a point to watch and review that movie and this is the outcome. Enjoy our review rewatching a story that touches on the subject that hits a little close to home but also enjoying some light-hearted fun and the good ol' days of classic black and white television. Noah of course had to come back again to talk about his favorite movie. How does this movie hold up today on the subject of race without hardly to no people of color to tell the story? Let's find out.

Movie Geeks, summer is over and now we are headed back to fall and that only means one thing and thats fall tv is back. For the month of Sept. we are doing two films focused around tv. For this month's Rob's Rewind its an old favorite of mine starring the late John Ritter in "Stay Tuned". How does this movie look after so long? Does it still hold up when the art of television has changed so much in the 90s and will it stay on my shelf? Joining me to help me figure that out is classic tv lover Noah.

Now we wrap up to talk about girl scouts. Ryan and Noah join me to review the classic (In my eyes) film Troop Beverly Hills. Relive the 80's, the fashion, and the brilliant comedic chops of Shelly Long. Find out which Girl Scout Cookie we favor, our memories of the cookie time song, and all the celebrity cameos we spotted in the film and much more.

With just two more camp visits to go, we had to the movie camp within a movie. Camp Bloodbath is our next destination as we review the film "The Final Girls" Brad from The Cinema Guys, and Suzy join me on this review as we are all three big fans of this film. We celebrate its many positive attributes to horror, comedy, and the meta genre. We dissect how important it was to have the drama aspect in the film as well as discuss why the movie is not seen or heard of by many, including horror fans. Enjoy this trip to Camp Bloodbath. This review will have spoilers.
