Movie The Needle

Enough of this two part nonsense - 2 hours of meaty (or plant based) dialogue, beer drinking and inuendo for your ears to feast on!

This week we stray into epic martial arts territory with Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon which Carl insists on naming everywhere as CTHD and I can never remember what hell he is talking about.

We talk the usual cast, production and plot as we try and Mov(i)e the Needle for each other. One of us likes it, the other not so much - who wins? You decide!

Will a needle have been moved? Listen to find out!

Missed part 1? Go back in your feed and give it a listen, anytime you like, but ideally Before Sunset...

We catch-up with Jesse and Celine 9 years after Before Sunrise and discuss our opposing viewpoints and see if we can move each other to bridge the 2 degrees of disagreement.

Plus our usual chit chat, beer discussion and other assorted nonsense. Enjoy!

Part 1 covers the intro, cast and production. Part 2 covers the rest.

We conclude our discussions on The Thing with our thoughts on the plot before finding out if either of our needles has been Mov(i)ed...WARNING DRAMATIC NEEDLE MOVING ALERT.

We also have a couple of unorthodox top 3's to finish things off.

Enjoy part 2, and if you haven't listened to part 1, probably best to listen to that first!

Here's the thing, we're trying something...splitting the episodes in two and we're starting this with The Thing! Same Movie The Needle podcast, but in bite-size portions.

Listen to the usual nonsense as we use the word 'thing' a ridiculous number of times, often unintentionally.

Part 1 covers the intro, cast and production. Part 2 covers the rest.

This rounds out our Scorsese trilogy and it's appearance #3 for Leo as he shoves all kinds of things up various orifices for our collective enjoyment in The Wolf of Wall Street!

We've got the usual jibber jabber, plus we each pick our 5 a side football teams made up entirely of Scorsese characters!
