THE TENDER BAR is a well-acted drama about a 9-year-old boy abandoned by his father and living with his mother at his grandparents’ house on Long Island. His mother’s bar-owning brother, Charlie, becomes a surrogate father to J R as he grows up, graduates from Yale and sets out for New York City to be a writer. After working at the New York Times but failing to snag a permanent job, J R decides to track down his undependable father to get some closure.

THE MATRIX RESURRECTIONS is the third sequel to the hit movie THE MATRIX. In the new movie, the machines have resurrected Neo and his beloved, Trinity, and trapped them in a new Matrix world. A new machine entity is now controlling the machines and has broken the peace that Neo established between humanity and the machine city. Neo manages to free himself from the new Matrix. With help from surviving remnants of humanity, he must rescue Trinity and save humanity from the new treat.

RUMBLE, an animated comedy streaming on Paramount Plus, tells a funny, uplifting story of a 17 year-old aspiring coach, Winnie, and her underdog monster wrestler, Steve. Winnie’s the daughter of a deceased championship coach. Steve is the son of a deceased champion. Fate, and a desperate need to save their fathers’ legacies and the whole town, bring them together. The reigning champ and scariest monster of all, Tentacular, is obsessed with destroying the town’s wrestling arena and erasing all memories of previous champions. To save the arena from being turned into a parking lot, Winnie must train Steve to defeat the scary champ.

C’MON C’MON stars Joaquin Phoenix as a radio journalist named Johnny whose sister asks him to take care of her son, Jesse, in Los Angeles. Johnny agrees, but his work requires him to travel, so he takes his nephew with him across the country. This is Jesse’s first experience away from his mother and outside of Los Angeles. Jesse’s energy, curiosity and authenticity catch his uncle Johnny off guard. Johnny must manage his job, console his sister and look after Jesse, who has endless amounts of questions, theories and energy.

In A HOLIDAY HOMECOMING, the residents of Hope, New York open their homes for foster children because their home for children burned down just before Christmas. A young man named Jesse is reluctant to help. He lives with his dad and is dating a girl named Maggie, who challenges him to open his heart. When Jesse gets home, he finds his father has already taken in a boy named David, and his sister, Abigail. Being an only child, Jesse is nervous about having them, but he agrees to step out of his comfort zone and show Christ’s love to Abigail and David.

GOD’S NOT DEAD: WE THE PEOPLE is the fourth in the GOD’S NOT DEAD franchise. It follows Pastor Dave and a group of Christian homeschooling parents who receive a court summons after a politically correct government inspection of their homeschooling co-op. The group trusts in God’s will and heads to Washington, D.C. to fight for their freedom to home educate their children. They face a Congressional hearing that could determine religious liberty for decades to come. Ultimately, Dave realizes he’s fighting for much more than just the rights of homeschooling, but the foundations of faith, liberty and unity that built America.

CRY MACHO stars Clint Eastwood as Mike Milo, a one-time rodeo star and retired rodeo horse breeder and trainer. A year after his friend and boss fires him, the boss asks Mike to travel to Mexico City and take back his 13-year-old boy, Raphael, from the boy’s criminal, alcoholic mother. Mike convinces Raphael to come to Texas, but the mother sends a henchman after them. So, they take the back roads. Eventually, they hide out in a sleepy little border town. They befriend a widowed woman who owns a small restaurant and takes care of her orphaned grandchildren. Meanwhile, Mike helps a local rancher train wild horses, and Raphael learns to ride.

THE JESUS MUSIC is a documentary taking a historical look at Contemporary Christian Music. It includes interviews from many major figures in Christian music. The movie starts with the beginnings of Jesus Music in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Mega stars Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith discuss their encounter with the first Jesus Music album, produced by artists from Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, California. In 1972, Jesus Music got a huge endorsement from the Reverend Billy Graham, who spoke to 200,000 people at a Jesus Music festival in Dallas, Texas. The rest of the documentary interviews other major stars from the 1980s, 1990s and the last 20 years.

QUEENPINS is a crime comedy about two women in suburban Phoenix who start a multimillion dollar coupon scam. They get a married couple at a coupon printing plant in Mexico to send them the overruns of free coupons that usually get destroyed. They then sell free coupons for a discount online. Soon, the women are making money hand over fist. However, the regional manager of a small grocery store chain uncovers the fraud. Eventually, he’s teamed up with a postal investigator to find the women and bring them to justice.

TURNER AND HOOCH: Diamonds Are Furever, the third episode of the Disney Plus series, finds Turner and Hooch solving another mystery. Turner and Hooch try to impress the “T-Squad” by trying to help bring down a fugitive before a diamond heist occurs. However, Hooch becomes captivated by a squeaky toy he finds during one chase. So, after a few embarrassing attempts, Turner is kicked from the case and tries to blame Hooch. Discovering once again that his dog is incredibly gifted, and teaming up with his friends, Turner manages to stop the diamond heist.
