A grieving widower dislikes Feinberg’s formula, because it doesn’t consider that all life is of equal value. At the “eleventh hour,” Feinberg only has 18% support. He must change his strategy, but how?

The CINDERELLA (2021) movie streaming on Amazon Prime is a modern re-telling of the classic fairy tale. It follows the original fairy tale’s plot, with modern-day twists. In this version, Cinderella has a talent for designing and making beautiful dresses. She longs to own her own dress shop. However, she lives in an old-fashioned kingdom that doesn’t allow women to do that. So, when Cinderella falls in love with Prince Robert at the ball, she refuses to marry him and ascend the throne because she’d rather become a famous dress designer.

THE STARLING follows the grief of two parents, Lilly and Jack Maynard, after their daughter’s death to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Lilly works at the local grocery store, while Jack lives at a rehab facility after a suicide attempt following their daughter’s death. Back at home, Lilly meets with a vet, who used to be a therapist for grief guidance but also answers pet care questions. Lily has an aggressive starling bird that keeps hurting her on her property. Eventually, Jack and Lilly must assess their lives and decide how to move forward.

SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS is a comical action entry in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe. It introduces a Chinese superhero who ran away from his criminal father who trained him to be an assassin. The father uses 10 powerful arm rings to enlarge and run his criminal 10 Rings empire. Shang-Chi (“Shawng-Chee”) learns his widowed father is being deceived by a demonic, imprisoned “soul-eating” monster into thinking a mystical village guarding a magical land is holding his dead wife’s spirit prisoner. The father intends to destroy the village, free his mother’s soul and use the rings to bring Shang-Chi’s mother back to life.

SHOW ME THE FATHER is a wonderful, inspiring documentary. It tells six emotionally powerful stories about fatherhood. Four stories involve two football coaches who mentor four young men from broken families to become better men and better fathers. Another story tells how God performs a miracle in helping a man and his wife find the perfect daughter to adopt. A sixth story shows how an older man overcomes a serious bout with depression to bless his own three sons.

THE LOST LEONARDO is a documentary about finding, restoring, marketing, and selling an alleged “lost” painting of Jesus Christ by Leonardo Da Vinci. The once damaged painting is titled “Salvador Mundi,” or “Savior of the World.” The documentary details how the painting was found, then beautifully restored by a famous female art restorer. It shows how the painting was sold for about $80 to a shifty Swiss middleman, who procured it for a shifty Russian oligarch. The oligarch paid the middleman $127 million. Eventually, the painting is sold for a whopping $450 million at Christie’s auction house to Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince.

ANGIE: LOST GIRLS is a harrowing drama about an American teenage girl’s abduction and sale into a Los Angeles sex trafficking ring. Angie is an average girl from a Christian home. Both her parents work overtime. They place the care and responsibility of their younger daughter on Angie. Craving attention from her parents, Angie falls prey to a sex trafficking scout she thinks is her boyfriend. The scout lures her into a sex-trafficking gang where she’s raped and beaten several times a day for money. Meanwhile, Angie’s parents are on a desperate search with local detectives to find their daughter. Angie does everything she can to stay alive, but will she ever be the same?

REMINISCENCE is a science fiction mystery thriller starring Hugh Jackman. Nick Banister works in Miami, Florida, where he and his assistant help people relive their best memories in a psychological exercise called the Reminiscence. One day, a woman named Mae comes to Nick’s office looking for help to find her keys. Later, Mae and Nick develop a steamy romantic relationship. Everything’s just fine until Mae disappears.
