THE LAST SERMON is a documentary movie made by and featuring two filmmakers and independent journalists. They survived a 2003 suicide bombing attack in Tel Aviv, Israel. Fourteen years later, the two travel across Europe and the Middle East to understand the roots of Islamic extremism and the current Muslim refugee crisis. As their documentary continues, the Muslim terror attack in Manchester, England in 2017 happens, and the two men are reinvigorated to end terrorism.

FAITH UNDER FIRE is a powerful, heart-rending drama. Tom Hatcher is the best firefighter in his firehouse. The new pastor at his late wife’s church reaches out to Tom, but Tom just punches him in the nose. The pastor doesn’t give up. Annabelle is an American widow who’s planned a world tour with her husband’s ashes to visit places they loved in the movies. A Netflix original animated comedy, PETS UNITED follows Roger, a stray dog, when his home of Robo City is threatened by the evil Mayor Frank. Roger and his robot friend, Bob, wander into Pamper Pets, a spa for the pets of rich citizens, to take cover from being chased by robot cops. They learn Mayor Frank is kicking the humans out of town to replace them with robots because robots create much less waste. Roger and the other pets abandoned at the spa by their owners have to unite together to save the city.

JOHN MARSHALL: THE MAN WHO MADE THE SUPREME COURT is a documentary about the most important chief justice of the Supreme Court. Marshall made the Supreme Court into the influential institution it has become since he ran the court from 1801 to 1835. The beginning of the documentary discusses Marshall’s life before the court. It then details eight important cases that Marshall decided with the other members of the court. A host of constitutional scholars and history scholars discuss the cases. Interspersed with these interviews and discussions are visits to the places where Marshall lived and the states affected by his rulings, and performances by actors reading snippets from some arguments before Marshall’s court and his rulings.
