A WHIRLWIND WEDDING is a cheesy but endearing romantic comedy on UPtv. Cassie Mitchell is an accountant with dreams of being a designer. She gets a call from her mother that her wedding planner quit one week before the mother weds a man named Henry. So, she asks Cassie to plan her wedding. Cassie travels to her mother’s house, where she meets a charming man named Kyle, a chef and new caterer. Cassie hires him, and the two begin the wedding preparations. A romantic spark begins between the two as the week continues. On the eve of the wedding, Cassie’s boyfriend, Phil, surprises her with a marriage proposal. Will she accept his proposal?

WOLFGANG is a documentary streaming on Disney Plus that recounts the life story of the first celebrity chef, Wolfgang Puck. The movie details his rise from poverty and an emotionally abusive childhood in Austria to achieve massive success after embracing capitalism in America. Using anecdotal interviews, re-enactments and archival photos and videos that bring his story vividly to life, this documentary is an excellent and inspirational tale of the American Dream in action.

“Spirit” is the fifth episode of THE CHOSEN’s second season. Jesus, Simon Peter, Andrew, and Phillip meet with John the Baptist, Jesus’ cousin. Jesus speaks with John privately, where John tells Jesus of his plans to confront King Herod. John asks Jesus why he’s taking so long to begin His public ministry. Jesus maintains there’s a time for everything, and when the time for Him to go public happens, He will. Meanwhile, two Pharisees question Jessie, Simon the Zealot’s brother, about the miracle Jesus did for Jessie on the Sabbath. Back in the camp, a demon-possessed man threatens the apostles and confronts Mary Magdalene.

Recounting the life of Mafia gangster and accountant Meyer Lansky through a series of interviews with a troubled writer, LANSKY brings to life one of America’s most notorious figures in a three-dimensional way that also shows some noble aspects of his career. With frequent foul language and frequent brief bursts of graphic violence, the movie is aimed at an adult audience, which should enjoy compelling lead performances by Harvey Keitel as Lansky and Sam Worthington as writer David Stone. By the end, Lansky is shown attending synagogue and telling Stone emotionally that “I’m an angel. . . with a dirty face.”

BLACK WIDOW, Marvel and Disney’s new superhero movie, opens on her life years ago, when Natasha and her sister, Yelena, were taken from the world they know in Ohio and flown to Communist Cuba. They are put into “The Red Room,” a place where the Soviet Union brainwashes young girls and trains them to kill. Natasha eventually defects from the program, however. Years later, after the events in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, Natasha and her sister get together and want to go back to rescue the other girls from the harm being done to them.

THE BOSS BABY: FAMILY BUSINESS follows a now-grown Tim and his sweet family. One day, Tim’s younger and successful businessman brother, Ted, comes for a visit. Things get turned upside down when the brothers learn that Tim’s youngest daughter, Tina, works for a pro-baby organization called Baby Corp. Tim and Ted take a potion that turns them into younger versions of themselves where they’re forced to blend with children. They find out a local school headmaster has big plans to take away authority from all parents. They hatch a plan to stop him.

FRIENDS: THE REUNION is a TV special streaming on HBO MAX. A lit set on the Warner Bros. lot illuminates the old set from the FRIENDS television series on a day like any other. Except, that the program’s six mega-famous stars will reunite on camera, 17 years after shooting the finale. The documentary then dives into many sequences that juxtapose the cast with one another, showrunners talking about the program’s genesis, audience questions, and interviews of celebrities who express their love for the series. The cast answers several long-standing questions, especially about Ross and Rachel’s roller coaster relationship.

THE HUMAN FACTOR is a documentary that covers the Clinton Administration’s attempts from 1993 to 2001 to broker peace between Israel and the Palestinian Arabs living in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. It’s told from the viewpoint of President Clinton and his advisors. The movie opens with a discussion about the importance of diplomatic negotiations between adversaries, in this case the Israelis and the Palestinian people. The rest of the movie shows how President Clinton and his administration tried to broker a peace treaty between four different Israeli Prime Ministers and Yasser Arafat, chairman of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), which engages in terrorism.

OF ANIMALS AND MEN is a Polish documentary about the Żabiński family, who ran the famous Warsaw Zoo in the 1930s. The zoo became home to elephants, giraffes, zebra, bears, lions, and other animals. When WORLD WAR II began, many of the animals were killed or taken by the German Nazi government. Eventually, the Nazis turned the zoo into land for food for the war effort and community. When the Nazis opened concentration camps, the Żabiński family used the empty zoo to hide, feed and disguise Jews. Through their bravery, the family saved more than 300 Jews.

A FATHER’S LEGACY is a drama about two men from different worlds, whose lives collide. Wounded in a robbery, a young man named Nick breaks into the home of Billy, an elderly, reclusive Vietnam vet. Nick makes demands at gunpoint. Billy has nothing to lose and not much will to live. He has a chance to escape and turn Nick into the police. However, Billy looks deeper into Nick and sees a young man who needs help. Billy spends time with Nick. He teaches him how to fish and how to fix things, while he doles out words of wisdom. To his surprise, their friendship challenges Billy to look at his own life and make peace with his past before it’s too late.
