THE EQUALIZER stars Queen Latifah as Robyn McCall, a female version of the retired CIA agent from the popular 1980s series who used his skills to help people in need. In the pilot, also titled “The Equalizer,” Robyn has retired from the CIA after a series of disappointments with her bosses. She lives with her sister and her teenage daughter, Delilah. When Robyn encounters a college-bound waitress who’s been framed for murder by a rich inventor, she decides to use her skills to help the girl. Robyn’s rescue operation hits several snags. Meanwhile, she has to teach her daughter a lesson when the girl gets into trouble.

Streaming on Netflix, BIGFOOT FAMILY is the animated sequel to SON OF BIGFOOT and follows Bigfoot as he uses his fame to fight against an oil company. The oil company claims they are using new technology in Alaska that has zero impact on the environment. However, some protestors ask Bigfoot if he can use his influence to uncover the oil company’s secrets. Bigfoot goes to Alaska and builds an ample crowd outside the company oil site gate. However, Bigfoot goes missing. So, Bigfoot’s son, his wife and his old friends the bear and raccoon come to his rescue. As they search for Bigfoot, they could stumble across something that could help the cause against the oil company.

THE GIRL WHO BELIEVES IN MIRACLES introduces a girl named Sara who has a strong Christian faith. Sara finds out she can perform miracles after she prays to God to heal a dead bird. Throughout the movie, Sara heals injured animals, blind children and children who are paralyzed or gravely sick. Sara’s family becomes concerned when Sara falls ill and faints. They find out Sara has an inoperable brain tumor that could take her life. After performing many miracles in her community, Sara will need a miracle to survive.

GODZILLA VS. KONG starts with Godzilla going on a rampage against the Apex Corporation, a powerful company studying his atomic energy. The head of the company finds that the origin to Godzilla’s energy is located in the original Hollow Earth home of Godzilla and King Kong. So, he provides some special flying machines to help some scientists take Kong to an entrance into the Hollow Earth. Hopefully, Kong can guide them. However, Kong is wary of humans, except for a little deaf girl who can talk to him using sign language. Also, Godzilla and Kong’s ancestors were mortal enemies, so Godzilla wants to use his fiery energy to destroy Kong.

LOVE AT SUNSET TERRACE is a family-friendly movie on UPtv about Sophie, who lives a fast-paced life as an interior designer in Los Angeles. Sophie plans to take a digital detox by visiting Summerside, a small town where she spent much time with her grandmother. On arrival, Sophie meets a spunky girl named Kailey and her widowed father, Michael, who host Sophie at their bed and breakfast. Sophie inspires Michael to host events at the bed and breakfast and spruce up the beloved town attraction. Michael and Sophie grow close. Will Sophie choose to stay in Summerside or return to her hectic life in Los Angeles?

THE MIGHTY DUCKS: GAME CHANGERS is a new TV series on Disne+ based on the popular 1990s family movies. “Game On,” the first episode, introduces a tween boy named Evan, who gets cut from the successful junior Mighty Ducks hockey team. The Ducks are local legends, so getting cut is a bummer for Evan. Until his mother, Alex, comes up with the idea of forming a new team! That leaves a few questions. Who will play, who will coach, and where will they practice? Evan’s mother finds a rundown ice rink owned by George Ramsey, the former MIGHTY DUCKS alum and coach.

A WEEK AWAY is a musical streaming on Netflix. Will is a troubled teenager who’s committed crimes and caused problems at schools and in foster homes throughout his life. ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE is a new, action packed four-hour version on HBO Max of the 2017 movie about Batman and Wonder Woman gathering a team of superheroes and resurrecting Superman to stop a demonic, alien supervillain. The supervillain, called Steppenwolf, is searching for three hidden boxes with world-shattering power when brought together. He wants to use the powerful alien technology to remake Earth and pave the way for an more powerful demonic villain, Darkseid. Eventually, Batman decides to resurrect Superman to be victorious. However, his plan may backfire.

CRISIS is a suspenseful, satisfying crime drama. Claire is an architect and recovering opioid addict investigating her son’s allegedly accidental overdose. The police aren’t helpful. So, she hires a private investigator, who discovers her son was knocked out and probably force-fed the drugs. The son’s cellphone leads Claire to three teenagers smuggling drugs for a Montreal drug lord. The drug lord is the target of a United States sting operation led by an undercover agent. Meanwhile, a research scientist finds something wrong with a new, allegedly safe pain medication designed to replace opioids. If he exposes the truth, he could lose everything.
