THE SLEEPOVER is an action comedy streaming on Netflix. Clancy is in ninth grade and is having trouble communicating with her mother. Set in New Orleans, PROJECT POWER is a science fiction thriller streaming on Netflix about a pill that gives people supernatural powers for five minutes. A man named Art goes looking for the supplier of these power pills, who’s kidnapped Art’s daughter. His search leads him to a teenage dealer named Robin, who’s been dealing the superpower pills to provide money for an operation her diabetic mother needs. Meanwhile, Frank, a police officer and friend of Robin’s, uncovers leads to find the pill supplier and protect the French Quarter from the bad guys.

TESLA is a surrealistic, European style movie about the famed inventor Nikola Tesla, a contemporary of Thomas Edison. The movie starts with Tesla experiencing electricity while petting a black cat. Next, he’s roller skating with a beautiful woman. Cut to nine years earlier in 1884 with Thomas Edison making a breakthrough developing the lightbulb when Tesla joined Edison’s team. After leaving Edison, Tesla forms a deal with George Westinghouse to develop Tesla’s alternating current. Westinghouse and Tesla get the contract for the Chicago World’s Fair. Then, Tesla moves to Colorado to test his theory that the Earth and the sky can become a giant electrical circuit.

BOMBARDIER BLOOD is a documentary about a special mountain climber named Chris Bombardier, who suffers from hemophilia, the severe bleeding disorder. Chris travels to South America, North America, Africa, Europe, Antarctica, Australia, and Asia to raise awareness for the disorder and to be the first hemophiliac to climb the highest peaks in each continent. The documentary takes viewers through the history of hemophilia and through Chris’s life, including all the obstacles and accomplishments he’s had. Hemophilia affects about one in every 10,000 births. Without infusion of blood clotting medicine called Factor, hemophilia can result in uncontrolled bleeding, joint deformity and death.

SWITCHED is a family-friendly, faith-based comedy available on digital and Video on Demand. Cassandra Evans and Katie Sharp are as different as it gets. Cassandra is an unpopular, musically gifted church girl. Katie is a popular social media influencer with no consideration for others. One day while at school, Katie dumps spoiled milk onto Cassandra and films it. Katie’s video goes viral, which hurts Cassandra. EVERYDAY MIRACLES follows a young faith healer named Cotton, as he tries to escape his past and start over. He gets a job on a family farm run by a widowed man and his daughter. However, Cotton’s mother hunts him down and will do everything in her power to get her money-making son back on the road with her revival business. Cotton must confront the past he left behind while finding a way to continue to live the new life he’s found for himself.

MADE IN ITALY is a light drama about an estranged father and son in London who travel to Tuscany, Italy. The son, Jack, wants to sell the little villa they inherited from the son’s mother, who died in a car accident when Jack was seven. Jack wants to use the money to buy his ex-wife’s art gallery, which Jack’s been managing. Jack and his father, Robert, discover the house is in disrepair. They undertake fixing up the house. Meanwhile, Jack meets Nathalia, the beautiful owner of a nearby restaurant. Like Jack, Nathalia is divorced, with a little daughter whose custody she splits with her husband.

WAITING FOR THE BARBARIANS follows a magistrate of an unnamed empire who wrestles with his superior’s treatment of the native people in his designated outpost. The magistrate tells his superior, Colonel Joll, that the native people aren’t a big concern to the outpost because they migrate annually. However, Joll isn’t convinced. After the magistrate cares for an abused native girl and returns her to her people, Joll and his fellow officers turn on the magistrate, despite his assertions that their ways are malicious and without cause.

ANIMAL CRACKERS (2020) is an enjoyable, funny animated movie on Netflix. A man named Owen falls in love at his aunt and uncle’s circus. Owen and Zoe always envisioned their lives as circus performers until they got married, and Owen decides to take a “serious” job working for Zoe’s father. The death of Owen’s aunt and uncle brings Owen and Zoe back to the circus. However, Owen discovers that his uncle’s evil brother, Horatio, wants the circus to use it to glorify his own act. A magical box of animal crackers could be the answer to Owen and Zoe’s troubles.

WORK IT is a movie streaming on Netflix about a teenager who wants to attend her father’s college alma mater. Quinn wants to go to Duke University, but the admissions counselor tells her she must stand apart, so she decides to enter a high school dance competition called “Work It.” Quinn tries out for her high school’s dance team, but they reject her. However, Quinn’s best friend, Jazz, agrees to quit the dance team and create a new team with Quinn. They enlist a ragtag group of dancers that have natural talent, except for Quinn. Can they qualify for the competition?
