Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver star in this Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters) comedy, which despite not being anywhere streaming was a big hit in 1993. Kevin Kline is a presidential impersonator who's pressed into service as the actual president suffers a stroke. Hilarity and personal growth ensues!

Written by Gary Ross (Big), and also starring Frank Langella, Frank Dunn, and an early Ving Rhames (along with Sir Ben Kingsley!).

This one is still absolutely masterful.

Indeed it is, here for the 30th anniversary of Cool Runnings, the "based on a true story" account of the jamaican bobsled team. John Candy, Leon, with director Jon Turteltaub (National Treasure, 3 Ninjas), and a low key banger score by Hans Zimmer!

Our first entree into the catalogue of Sylvester Stallone, here with John Lithgow, Michael Rooker, and a pretty deep ensemble cast. One of the top 10 box office movies of 1993, Stallone rock climbs in fingerless weightlifting gloves and fights John Lithgow on a helicopter.

One of the two underrated Michael J. Fox movies that came out in '93, we wound up on this one over Life With Mikey just on pure chance.

Directed by Barry Sonnenfeld (Men in Black, Raising Arizona), and co-starring Gabriel Anwar (Scent of A Woman, Burn Notice), this is a tight 90 minutes full of quips and behind the scenes in a big hotel. 

Unfortunately it doesn't exist digitally anywhere in 2023, so it's really hard to watch legally. But still, search the movie on youtube and you might get lucky!

Not only one of the finest frozen pizzas of our childhood, this classic western is both fairly historically accurate about the last chapter of Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, and the OK Corral, and also a tour de force from Val Kilmer. Insanely quotable still today!

This bizarrely entertaining action-genre satire is one of the most fun movies we've ever done on the pod. Arnold Schwartzenegger stars, with cameos from Danny DeVito to Sharon Stone to Little Richard. Directed by John McTiernan (Die Hard, Predator), written by Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, A Long Kiss Goodnight, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang), and scored by Michael Kamen (Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves), this thing should've been huge.

It eventually found it's niche as a cult film, but it's an absolute delight!
