In Episode 34, we reach back into the Judd Apatow series of comedies from the early 2000's and cover 40 Year Old Virgin, starring Steve Carell. This was an episode we recorded a while back, but ran into technical issues during editing, so we re-watched and recorded this one to make it right!
Note: This episode was recorded in June of 2023.

This bonus episode was recorded in the summer of 2022, but we held onto it for a while as we were preparing to record our Top Gun episode. Unfortunately, we ran into some technical issues with that one, so we decided to keep it in the vault and bring in the new year with a new episode and share our thoughts about Wedding Crashers. Enjoy!

Join Jay and Ryan as they discuss the new Ghostbusters Afterlife film. Is this one possibly the best sequel in the series, or did it fail to live up to the hype? As always, the guys make you think and laugh while enjoying a cold brew and sharing their music picks for the MMB Radio playlist on Spotify! Also covered is the late 90's gen-x underrated film, Suburbia.

After a long break, we're back to discuss one of our childhood favorites, Ghostbusters. With the release of the 2021 re-boot, we revisit this paranormal comedy gem and discuss our favorite scenes, characters, quotes, and more!
Our "Regret" of the episode is the new "Matrix Revolutions," which is quite possibly the worst re-boot in a long while. Listen to why Jay hated it so much.
Later in the episode, we dig into the new horror series, "Chucky" on the USA network and share what we love about it, and what irks us as well.
As always, you'll hear us share our music picks for the "Movies, Music and Beer Radio" playlist on Spotify, as well our beers of the episode.

Episode #29 of the MMB Podcast features our thoughts of "The Hangover," starring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zack Galifianakis, and Heather Graham. This has always been a favorite of ours and we've been looking forward to discussing it since we started the show. We take some time to discuss what we're drinking and how much public pools suck before diving into this hilarious and timeless film. As always we get into some music discussion before wrapping up the show, so sit back and have a few laughs with two of your favorite foul-mouthed podcasters!

In this episode, we discuss one of their favorite 90's movies featuring Bill Murray, "Groundhog Day." We talk about a lot of the behind the scenes information about the film, how it came to be, fan reception, and our favorite moments of the film. We also discuss how long Phil Connors was actually in the loop and why it was finally broken. Jay tries a new hazy IPA and gives the play-by-play. As always, we share our recommendations and add to the Movies, Music and Beer Radio playlist on Spotify.

The first new episode of 2021 brings our last Judd Apatow film for a while... This time Ryan and Jay talk about Knocked Up, a comedy featuring Seth Rogen, Katherine Heigl, Paul Rudd, and Leslie Mann. This 2007 comedy was a hit at the box office that propelled the careers of Jonah Hill, Jason Segel, and several other comedy stars that would land larger roles in the late 2010's. Listen to your boys carve up this crude, fun comedy and deliver holiday recommendations you won't want to miss!
