Last week I discussed reflecting on the past but not focusing on it. This episode I discuss what it is we should be focusing on. The idea will go against what we have been taught our whole lives, but If you keep doing what you are doing, you'll keep getting what you are getting.
In this episode, I talk about reflecting on your past, not living in it, and utilizing the realization of previous successes to aid in the progression towards your future purposeful goal.
It has always been my intention to talk about having a mindset for success as it pertains to certain events. Today I was blessed to have two very good friends join me in talking about overcoming divorce by building the proper mindset. Scott Brandt and Miriam Wilson run a podcast called "The Journey Beyond Divorce" in which they talk through be this subject in a very real and upfront way that is relatable to all who have gone through it. Our self-image sets the boundaries of what we believe we can accomplish. When we begin to understand that we were made for greatness we will start accomplishing great things.
In this second episode, I begin to bring to light the conscious and subconscious minds and the power that they have to either work towards our goals or work against them. Remember that it all begins with thoughts and, after this, you will know why.
In this first episode, I discuss what the concept of thoughts becoming things looks like. There is a distinct process the carries our thoughts and beliefs into action generating results. This is the perfect topic for this episode as our thoughts are truly the starting point for developing a successful mindset.
