Well here it is you guys, this episode has been one I have been wanting to share with you guys for a while now and have been alerting you guys on recent episodes to look out for this testimony. This is a testimony of a season I went through for almost a year where I was approached with a prophetic word from an old friend I had known for a long time and the word had brought many confirmations of personal prophetic words I had written down that I believed were from The Lord, then everything unfolded. At this point in Pauls letter he starts to first start off with how we these believers before they came to Christ, and continues to show them they are still apart of Gods family, but have been scattered by false brethren. There is also language of sanctification in Pauls verbiage in this chapter, shows them the true intentions (ohhh there’s that word!) of these Jewdisers, then gives them an analogy of who Sarah and Hagar are symbolically represented in todays world. And uses that analogy to help them come back to what is recognizable to them.

As we look at chapter 3 in a longer episode; Paul uses very strong words to describe the believers character and it may seem wrong for Paul to use certain words, but let’s keep that critical thinking in tact. Paul then starts to remind them of the beauty of the effect of The Spirit early on in their walk and how they have forsaken it for a lie. Then near the end Paul explains clearly the right understanding of the old testament and how the promise God gave Abraham is actually about them.

The last few days I’ve had some throat irritations, not sure what it is, it’s not strep, and I don’t have any coughing or sneezing issues, could be just the weather changes. Would appreciate prayers to get better for next week and then God willing we’ll dive into Galatians 3 :)

Way back in episodes 170-180 I did a study through this book and I have wanted to get back into it to get us back on track with the gospel. Pastor Sean DeMars on “American Gospel Christ Alone” documentary says “The gospel is central, The Gospel is never something you gradate from.” I also wanted to dive back in on this for deeper study and growing in discernment against false doctrines/cults. Paul in these lines of writing talks about his continued journey and how it has been preserved by The Lord and is continually fruitful. He then dives into how these men are categorized as “false brothers.” I break down the crazy story between Paul and Peter and the other to best understand it step by step. Then near the end Paul starts this understanding of how the law is applied in our lives as believers.

Way back in episodes 170-180 I did a study on the book of Galatians. And after some further prayer I want to go over it again for 2 reasons. Number 1, I want to focus back on the gospel again, I love the way Sean Demars in the “American Gospel Christ Alone” documentary by Brandon Kimber that I have watched just countless times, Sean says “The gospel is nothing you ever graduate from, the Gospel is central.” And number 2 this series can help us grow in discernment of learning other false groups who hold tightly to the teachings of say “7 Day Adventists” or “Black Hebrew Israelites.” How does Paul address these people who are harassing these other believers? And why is Pauls credibility as an Apostle credible?

As we end this series of looking specifically at the 7 churches here in Revelation we come to the final church in Laodicea, very excited to dive into this one. I am sure many of you have heard this passage preached to you, I have; and most of them have been really bad expositions, maybe not all with bad intent, but you guys know me to put so much effort in my sermons here because I am intentional, and I care. As we wrap this up, lets continue to go back and use these churches as a templet to see where we stand, to learn to love The Lord more because of how much He loved us.
