Sara and the MPUnleashed team were asked to do a land reading of the Lindsey family property located between Austin and San Antonio, TX.  We encountered more than we expected during our first visit and knew that we had to come back... so we did and we brought our recording equipment and cameras.

This is part 1 of a 3 part investigation.

Damian Schillaci is a paranormal researcher, collector, and weirdo extraordinaire. He is the owner of the ParaPeculiar Museum Of Haunted Items in San Marcos TX, and the host of the ParaPeculiar podcast.  Taking a philosophical approach to paranormal research, Damian relies on fringe thinking and out of the box research methods. His controversial ideas and lack of filter bring a different perspective to paranormal research.

To protect their identity, we are going to disguise their voice and not use their real name.  ‘Pat Ryder’ is a well respected investigator who has been working in law enforcement for the last thirty years.  They have seen a lot of death and have worked many missing persons’ cases. For the first time, they open up about using psychic mediums in the field and share some personal details about having their own ‘abilities’ that they use on the job.

Located at 6266 W. Highway 290 in Austin, Texas, The Madrone Coffee Company has a long history of ghostly activity.  Staff and guests have reported seeing lights that turn off and on by themselves, sounds that cannot be explained, light orbs, doors opening and closing on their own… these and other activity.

Sara Reeves and the MPUnleashed team were invited to investigate this location and present their findings at a live event.  This is what we found.

EPISODE CORRECTION NOTE: James Andrew Patton was born in 1853, not 1953.

This was a case that was referred to us by a student of Sara’s.  Upon stepping foot into the Texas home, Emily felt an unfamiliar yet welcoming energy.  Shortly after she and her husband moved in, they began hearing disembodied footsteps and were even visited by the ghost of a woman named Mary.  The MPUnleashed team were brought in to investigate and discovered more than the sound of footsteps in the home.  DeeDee Hawk was introduced to the spirit of a young girl and Sara R. Reeves met the founder of the neighborhood that the home sits on.  The home is mysteriously built with walls placed in areas that feel like it was meant to hide whatever is on the other side and areas that have disguised recesses to hide unknown objects.
