In this episode Lou talks to Simon da Roza, teacher and consultant to families who are experiencing difficulties with their square pegs at school.  He helps schools to work productively with their students and he also mentors the students themselves.  He calls them "funky kids" and he is a kind and positive influence in their lives. 

We discuss some success stories and what Simon has learned over the 30 years that he has been teaching, pivotal moments in his career and some practical discussion around what should be in an IEP (Individual Education Plan).
