His experience spans the continuum between reconstructive NHS and private aesthetic practice.
He is a past president of the Plastic Surgery Section of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM), currently serves on the council of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and is the Chair of Restore Burn and Wound Healing Research. He has played a crucial role in advancing the understanding of burn and wound healing, presenting his work across the world and publishing several research papers and book chapters.
