This episode is for the dreamers! From student feedback dream analysis is one of my most popular lessons. When I did the research and taught students how to analyze dreams I figured I should try it too. Now after analyzing over 200 dreams I feel confident applying the lessons. The first 20 minutes cover dream analysis theory by Freud, Jung, and yours truly. The last 16 minutes is all dream analysis! One of my own dreams and three dreams shared by listeners via Instagram. Reflecting on the 2022 school year I decided to cover positivity, a strategy I emphasize in my teaching practice. Positivity helps create a welcoming environment for learning and I believe that can be explained best through Carl Rogers approach. Rogers concept of empathetic listening and unconditional positive regard are explored in an effort to explain my approach. This is my first podcast, I hope you enjoy it!
