Day 12

WELCOME

Hi my love… welcome back. Take a deep breath in… and release it slowly.

You made it to Day 12. I need you to pause and really receive that. Twelve days of choosing yourself.

Twelve days of showing up when it would have been easier not to. Twelve days of saying yes to healing, yes

to purpose, yes to the life that is waiting for you. That is not nothing. That is everything.

TODAY'S AFFIRMATION & SCRIPTURE

Today's affirmation is: Remembering Purpose Harvest. And our scripture comes from Philippians 3:14:

"I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me

heavenward in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 3:14

Let that settle deep… all the way down into the places that have felt tired and forgotten.

REFLECTION

There is a harvest coming. I need you to believe that. Not just as a nice idea… but as a truth you hold onto

on the days when the ground still looks bare and nothing seems to be growing.

A harvest doesn't happen without a planting season. And a planting season doesn't feel like a harvest. It feels

like labor. It feels like waiting. It feels like putting things into the ground with no guarantee of what will

come back up. But the farmer doesn't stop planting just because the field looks empty. The farmer presses on

— because they know that what was sown in faith will be reaped in due season.

You have been sowing. In your tears, you have been sowing. In your prayers, you have been sowing. In

every day you chose to keep going when giving up felt more reasonable — you have been sowing. And

purpose has a harvest. What you have been pouring yourself into is not disappearing into the ground. It is

taking root.

Paul understood this. He had every reason to look back — the mistakes, the losses, the pain of his past. But

he made a decision to press. To keep his eyes fixed not on what was behind him but on what was ahead. On

the prize. On the calling. On the harvest that was waiting at the finish line.

That is your posture today. Eyes forward. Heart open. Hands ready to receive.

REPEAT AFTER ME

• I press on — because my harvest is coming.

• I will not give up in the planting season.

• Everything I have sown in faith is growing, even when I cannot see it.

• My purpose has a harvest and I will live to see it.

• I keep my eyes on the goal, not on the ground.

• I am called, I am covered, and my harvest is already on its way.

You are closer than you think. The very thing that has been pressing you, testing you, stretching you — it is

evidence that a harvest is near. Pressure precedes breakthrough. Planting precedes harvest. And your season

of reaping is coming.

So press on, my love. Press on.

Day 10: Defense

Let tune in to another defense lesson — When Your Guard Is Tested

May 10

Hi my love… welcome back. Take a deep breath in… and let it go.

Day 10. Double digits. Ten days of choosing your heart, your healing, your wholeness. And today we are going to talk about what happens when everything you have been building gets tested. Because it will be tested. And the test is not evidence that you built wrong — it is evidence that what you built is worth testing.

Today’s affirmation is: Defense — When Your Guard Is Tested. And our scripture comes from Ephesians 6:13:

“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”

Let that strengthen something in you… after you have done everything — stand.

There will be days when your defenses feel like they are failing. When the thing you thought you were past walks back through the door. When the emotion you thought you had processed hits you fresh and you wonder if you have made any progress at all. When someone pushes exactly the right button and your carefully tended boundaries feel paper thin.

Those days are not failures. Those days are tests. And Paul’s instruction for the days of testing is not to fight harder or run faster — it is to stand. To hold the ground you have taken. To remain in the position of someone who has put on the full armor — truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, the Word of God — and refuse to move from it no matter what is coming.

Your guard being tested is not the same as your guard being broken. You are still standing. And standing — when everything in you wants to collapse or retreat or go back to what was familiar — is one of the most powerful things you can do.

Power Talk:

The test is not the end — it is the proof. Every time you stand when you could have fallen, every time you hold your ground when you could have retreated, you are proving that what you have built is real. Tell someone today that being tested is not a sign that they are failing — it is a sign that they have built something worth protecting. Stand firm. The armor is holding.

Name of God to study today: Jehovah Gibbor — The Lord Mighty in Battle. When your guard is being tested and your own strength feels insufficient — Jehovah Gibbor steps in. You are not fighting alone. The Mighty God is standing in the battle with you and He has never lost one.

Repeat after me:

I put on the full armor of God and I stand my ground. My guard being tested does not mean my guard has failed. I hold the ground I have taken — I do not retreat. I am stronger than this test and I will not be moved. After I have done everything — I stand. The Lord mighty in battle is fighting with me and I will not fall.

Stand today, my love. Just stand. The ground beneath your feet is holy — and you have every right to be on it.

Healing — The Heart That Learns to Receive

Hi my love… welcome back. Take a deep breath in… and let it go.

Day 8. And today I want to talk about something that does not get enough attention on the healing journey — the art of receiving. Because so many of us have become experts at giving. At pouring out. At showing up for everyone else. And somewhere along the way we forgot — or were never taught — how to let love, healing, grace, and goodness actually land on us.

Today’s affirmation is: Healing — The Heart That Learns to Receive. And our scripture comes from John 1:16:

“Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.”

Let that wash over you… grace in place of grace. Not grace running out. Grace being replenished. Grace upon grace upon grace — and it is yours to receive.

There is a reason receiving feels harder than giving for so many people who have been through deep pain. Giving keeps you in control. Giving keeps you needed. Giving keeps the dynamic familiar — you as the one who pours, never the one who is poured into. And as long as you stay in that position you never have to be vulnerable enough to need something from someone and risk them not coming through.

But healing requires receiving. You cannot pour from a place that has never been filled. And the God of all grace — the One whose fullness never runs dry — has been trying to pour into the empty places in you that you have been too guarded or too proud or too hurt to open up.

Today we open up. Today we practice the vulnerable, courageous, deeply healing act of receiving. From God. From the people He has placed in your life. From the truth of who He says you are. From the grace that is new every single morning and has your name on it.

Power Talk:

Receiving is not weakness. It is wisdom. It takes more courage to open your hands than to keep them closed. Tell someone today that healing is not just about what you release — it is about what you allow in. The grace that is available to you right now is more than enough to fill every empty place. Open up and let it in.

Name of God to study today: Jehovah Jireh — The Lord Will Provide. He is not just your provider of things. He is the provider of everything your heart has been lacking. Every grace you needed and did not receive from people — He has been holding it, waiting for you to open your hands.

Repeat after me:

I open my heart to receive what God has been trying to give me. I release the posture of always giving and never receiving. Grace upon grace is mine and I receive it today. I am worthy of being poured into. I do not have to earn what God freely gives. I receive healing, love, and grace with open hands and an open heart.

Let it in today, my love. The grace has been waiting. And your open hands are the most powerful thing you can offer right now.

📖 Devotional — Day 7: Coming Out of Agreement With Fear and Abandonment

May 7 — Special Alignment Day

Deuteronomy 31:8

Scripture:

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Devotional Reading:

Today is not an ordinary day. Today is a day of severance. Of declaration. Of a deep and permanent shift in the agreements you have been living under — perhaps for years, perhaps for as long as you can remember.

Fear and abandonment are not just emotions. They are covenants. Agreements made in moments of pain that quietly became the governing framework of your life. When someone left — and the leaving broke something in you — a part of your heart signed a document that said this is what love does. This is what I should expect. This is the shape of how it ends. And from that moment, without even realizing it, you began to live from the posture of someone who was always, on some level, waiting to be left.

That agreement ends today.

Deuteronomy 31:8 is God speaking directly into the architecture of abandonment. He will never leave you. He will never forsake you. Those are not words of comfort offered to someone who has never been abandoned. Those are words spoken to people who had every reason to fear it — who had wandered, who had failed, who had given God every reason to walk away. And He looked at them and said — I am not going anywhere.

That is your God. And that is your truth today.

Coming out of agreement with fear means you stop making decisions from the assumption that the worst is inevitable. It means you stop shrinking yourself to be easier to keep. It means you stop leaving first to beat everyone else to it. It means you open your hands — slowly, courageously, faithfully — and you receive the love that has been trying to reach you through every wall fear built to keep it out.

You were never meant to live like someone who expects to be abandoned. You were made to live like someone who is kept.

Reflection Questions:

Where in your life have you been making decisions from an agreement with fear or abandonment? What would change in your relationships, your faith, and your sense of self if you truly believed you would never be forsaken?

Prayer:

Lord, today I come out of agreement with fear. I come out of agreement with abandonment. I renounce every lie that said You would leave, that love always ends, that I am too much or not enough to be kept. I receive Your covenant — You go before me, You are with me, You will never leave me. I am not afraid. I am not forsaken. I am Yours. Amen.

⏱️ 3 Minutes to Sit and Listen to God:

Today’s three minutes are sacred. Set your timer. Place both hands open in your lap — palms up — as a physical posture of receiving. Close your eyes. In the quiet simply say — I receive. Then sit in the stillness and let God speak to every place that fear and abandonment have lived. He has been waiting for this moment. Let Him have it fully. Whatever He deposits in you in these three minutes — it is yours to keep.

Let’s listen to silent draw in opportunities that we need to fight and rebuke.

📖 Devotional — Day 6: Defense — Guarding the Healed Places

May 6

Song of Solomon 2:15

Scripture:

“Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom.”

Devotional Reading:

Nobody warns you about the little foxes.

We spend so much time preparing for the big battles — the obvious enemies, the dramatic moments of testing — that we forget that the most consistent damage is often done quietly. By small things. Familiar things. Things that slip in through the side door when our guard is down because we are tired, or lonely, or just a little off center.

The little foxes in Song of Solomon are not attacking a barren vineyard. They are attacking one that is in bloom. That detail matters enormously. The enemy does not waste his energy on what is already destroyed. He comes for what is growing. What is healing. What is becoming beautiful again after a long and difficult season.

You are in bloom. And that means you need to be alert — not anxious, not paranoid, but alert — to the little things that could quietly undo what God has been carefully restoring in you.

A little fox might look like an old habit you thought you had outgrown creeping back in under stress. It might look like a relationship from your past reappearing right when you are doing well, sensing the growth and knowing exactly how to make familiar feel like safe. It might look like a thought pattern — subtle, quiet, persistent — that has been slowly eroding the confidence and clarity you have been building.

Guarding the healed places requires the same intentionality as building them. You do not maintain a garden by accident. You tend it. You watch it. You catch what does not belong before it takes root.

Reflection Questions:

What are the little foxes in your life right now — the small, subtle things that have been quietly trying to get into the healed places? What would it look like to catch them before they do damage?

Prayer:

Lord, show me the little foxes. The subtle things I have been dismissing as small that are actually doing significant damage. Give me the alertness to catch them and the strength to remove them. Guard what You have grown in me. I do not want to lose the bloom. Amen.

Set your timer. As you sit in stillness today ask God — what small thing have I been overlooking that needs my attention? Do not rush the answer. Do not fill the silence with your own analysis. Simply wait. He is faithful to show you what needs to be seen. And when He does — receive it without shame. Awareness is the beginning of freedom.

Most times we forget there is other options like loving us.

📖 Devotional — Day 5: The Discerning Heart — Knowing the Difference Between an Open Door and a Trap

John 10:27

Scripture:

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”

Devotional Reading:

Not every open door is an invitation from God. That is one of the most important sentences you will read this month. Sit with it for a moment.

We have been taught — in church, in culture, in the well-meaning advice of people who love us — that open doors mean go. That opportunity means movement. That if something is available it must be for us. And sometimes that is true. But a heart without discernment will walk through almost any door that promises relief from the waiting. And the enemy knows this. He is not unaware of what you are hungry for. He knows exactly what an answer to your prayer looks like — and he is fully capable of constructing a convincing imitation.

The difference between an open door and a trap is not always obvious on the surface. It lives in the details. It lives in what the door requires of you — whether it asks you to compromise your values, silence your spirit, rush past the peace of God, or explain away the quiet unease in your chest. A God-opened door may still require courage and faith — but it will not require you to abandon what you know to be true about who you are and what you deserve.

Jesus said His sheep know His voice. Not occasionally. Not when it is convenient. They know it — it is familiar to them because they have spent time in His presence cultivating the ability to recognize it. That is the work of this month. Getting so familiar with His voice that every other voice — no matter how convincing — sounds different.

Reflection Questions:

Think of a door that is currently open in your life. What does your spirit say about it — not your longing, not your fear, but your spirit? How are you cultivating your ability to hear God’s voice more clearly?

Prayer:

Lord, I want to know Your voice above every other voice. Teach me to recognize the difference between what You are opening and what my own hunger is reaching for. Give me the patience to wait for Your doors and the wisdom to walk past the traps. I follow You. Amen.

Set your timer. Before you begin your stillness today ask God one specific question — is there a door in my life right now that You want to speak to me about? Then be still. Do not answer for Him. Do not fill in the blank with what you hope He will say. Simply listen. Whatever comes — hold it gently and bring it back to prayer.
