Years ago I was reading the Left Behind Series of books written by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B Jenkins.

I had never been an avid reader and I was amazed at how this series had immediately captured and held my attention that it had me looking forward to reading more daily so much so that I read not only the first book in the series, but I think it was the first 5 or 6 books in the series. I didn't complete the entire series and I'll explain why later.

...It was a much simpler time then. I grew up with a stay at home mom I guess you could say, but honestly, back then most all the mothers stayed at home and the men were the bread winners.
