We're qualified for the Regional Championship! And even with two set releases between now and then it's never too early to get to work. But you gotta be smart about it, and this week we go over what we can do to start building the baseline knowledge to be ready when the tournament comes around.

CCR did it! He brought Living End to a first place finish at a local RCQ, and this week we're talking about the tournament, tournament organization generally, Magic30, and a million other things. Join us for a victory lap and a bunch of chill hangs.

Jarvis just took down an RCQ with 4c Delirium, and he's here to talk about his build, attacking the Modern format, and playing to the clock. We also fit in some old man reminiscing!

Our friend Nick just won an RCQ with modern's hottest new deck, and he's here to talk about maximizing your Archons, playing Wrenn and Six in a (gasp) 60 card deck, and the pleasures of a Dwarven Mine manabase.

It's an all modern episode! We're coming off a weekend of playing and commentating modern tournaments and have plenty of thoughts to share on cascade decks, the power of ledger shredder, the shifting value of sideboard staples and more!

Ok, it's not an entirely Ledger Shredder-based show. But we do sing the praises of the bird who churns, along with its best friend Treasure Cruise, which took CCR to exactly one fewer match win than he was hoping for this weekend.

It's episode 250! And we're not doing anything special, don't worry. We haven't checked in on pioneer since the ban, and with a couple local RCQs coming up this seemed like the right time to take a look at Magic's only delve-based format.

It's almost time to start qualifying for Regionals! And we're a bit confused about how to go about doing that. From the Wizards Event Locator to our European friends' woes, we've got some bones to pick!

It's MOCS time again! And Will Krueger was kind enough to join the cast to go over prepping modern and vintage cube (!!) for the highest stakes 8-man of the year. Come hang out!

"The Modern metagame continues to show great playstyle diversity, with aggro, tempo, combo, control, and ramp all represented in the ten most played decks." So why don't I feel like playing modern? This week we're exploring the current format and why it's just...not all that fun, especially at the competitive level.
