Enjoy. Or don’t.
While in the Miami area over the past week, I thought it would be amusing to pay a visit to Destiny, whom I once “streamed” with in the past, and was astonished to discover after the fact that he was simultaneously playing video games the entire time. This naturally piqued my curiosity about the streaming lifestyle — meaning, guys like Destiny who live-stream themselves many hours a day, virtually every single day. So I asked him some questions about that. We also got into Iran, Trump, Democrats, Epstein, my personal voting choices, and the usual slate of other topics.
Enjoy. Or don’t.
Hooman Majd is a journalist and commentator with some unique insights on Iran, by way of his personal background, so I thought I would ask him the question I posed to myself last week, and which will presumably go down in historical infamy: “Why did Trump go to war with Iran on February 28, 2026?”
We also got into various other dimensions of the war — the nature of Trump’s second-term ideology, the structure of his administration, the purported “negotiations” led by Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, issues around US and Iranian public opinion, Iranian diaspora dynamics, and so forth.
Here is Hooman Majd’s recent article in the Guardian, and here is Hooman Majd on X.
I’m in Miami, and yesterday recorded this hot new “March Madness” tournament intro with Matt Taibbi, as well as a 2-hour discussion with Ben Swann — the guy who’s probably most responsible for popularizing “Pizzagate” in 2016, and recently claimed vindication, given how the Epstein Files prove Pizzagate, or something like that. Amusingly enough, the con…
Let me know if you received a notification for this livestream while it was going on earlier tonight? I might have screwed up the promotion. Anyway, feel free to watch at your leisure, if you please. Also feel free not to watch. There are plenty of other things you probably could be doing with your time that don’t include consuming yet another podcast, even if my intent is to make this, as much as possible, the “anti-podcast podcast.”
I honestly can’t recommend watching this, because it’s so petty and tedious, but I figured I might as well post it here, in case any of my Substack subscribers are pure masochists with nothing better to do. You can also watch on YouTube, if you want, but again, I really don’t recommend it.
I keep saying I’m going to start modulating my podcast appearances at some point, and then I never do so. I have a proper article coming soon on the Prince Andrew nonsense. Watch my full appearance on the Unherd appearance here, if you want. I was also on the “All In” podcast, joined by Saagar Enjeti, who popped in for the first half hour or so. I have also done a bunch of other stuff, but it’s all starting to blend together at this point.
I happened to come across Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian of “The Young Turks” discussing my appearance this week on the Piers Morgan show, and predictably, they wasted no time rattling off a slew bogus assertions, one after the next, with such sublime and unshakeable confidence. As is so often the case, the pair have just unthinkably absorbed this whole weird Epstein mythos — the actual evidentiary basis for which they’ve clearly never bothered to check. Instead, they just instinctively assume every little mythological datapoint to be true. Most of which is probably derived from social media or Netflix.
So I figured what the heck, I’ll produce my own dumb little commentary video cataloguing their various errors and misapprehensions. There’s not much surprising here; Cenk and Ana’s factual follies are thoroughly typical — almost banally so. I could spend 24/7 correcting bogus Epstein coverage across the political and media spectrum, and never even get through 1% of it. But at least this particular example happens to be pegged to me, Michael Tracey, so I thought hey, why not give it a whirl.
