如果话到嘴边却忘记了个名字，那么通常会用“那谁“或”那什么”来替代。这种通用名就是在英文里叫做“placeholdernames ”。 具体而言，“whatishisname”代替男性，“whatishername”代替女性。

你知道,老那谁给我今天打电话了。You know, old whatshisname rang me today.

她看上去像一个著名的女演员那谁。She looks likethat famous actress, whatishername.

“Whatsit”用途更广，应为可以代替人名或者事物。

好啊，那么我们就在二月份的那个几号见面吧.Ok. Let’s meet again on the whatsit of February.

join  forces 和 collaborate是两个表达合作行为的高端动词。举例：

“deal”当名词用时，基本的意思是 “交易”。做个交易， 达成交易， 可以说成：Strike a deal, cut adeal, make a deal等等

职业英语 

当你认为某事不重要时，可说 “It’s no bigdeal.”

当描述那些真实的确切的美好的东西，例如：钻石是真的. 可说：

”Those diamonds arethe real deal.”

“deal”也可以指优秀的人，例如新来的这个老师很优秀。  ”Thisnew teacher is the real deal. ”

为了促成一个很不错的交易，你决定额外付出一些代价给对方以便让他感觉这个交易很划算很甜美，于是你便会 “sweeten the deal”

处理某一件事情 是“deal with it”。当然在这里“deal”又变成了一个动词来用。
