稍微完整的例子是:
To sum up, we've secured the 80% of the Q1 sales target. Also, the legal department and this new vendor will sign up to a global procurement agreement.

当你的讲话结束，想提醒下个人讲的时候，用下面的短语把话语权交给他们。

I'd like to hand over to Weston, who is going to lead the next topic. 我把发言权交给Weston，他将领导下一个议题。

I'd like to hand over to Rose, who is going to discuss the quality issue. 我想把发言权交给Rose，她将讨论质量问题。

也可简单说：Ok, Weston, over to you.

当您从会议的一个话题转到另一个时，作为承上启下，一些连接句可以帮你轻松切换过去。下面就是这些朴素用词：

I think that covers the first item. The next item on the agenda is …

我想第一项已经说到这里了。议事下一项是……

I think that covers the major points. Now we come to the question of…

我想这已经涵盖了主要问题。现在我们讨论…

我们应当总是要确保双方的不同观点都被听到。可以利用以下的问话邀请参会者就刚才的话题表态。

也可以把问题抛给具体某人：

收到的回答可能是简单的赞成：
That sounds like a great idea！听起来是个好主意

It’s fine with me. 我没问题。

 
如果某人不赞成，就会听到诸如下面几句负面意见：
My major concern here is … 我主要担心的是…
I agree with you in part, but …我是部分同意，但是…
I can’t agree with you because I think... 我不同意你的观点，因为我认为…

 无论你是领导还是参与会议，需要确认自己刚才所讲的观点至少已经被大家听懂了。

-Was that clear to everyone?
-If we look at it from this perspective, does that make more sense?
-Can I make that easier to understand?
-I will just repeat for clarification…
-Because these are important points, I will repeat them.
-In my view, this idea is …
