The east coast blizzard this past weekend derailed all of our recording sessions for our second episode of the season, so Mike put together this bonus episode to give you guys something to listen to and hopefully laugh at. This episode features Mike (Virgil Slatter) and Bruce (Harmon Truesdale) stumbling their way through the first episode of the season, Vinnie Jean Is Not My Lover.
Our next full-length episode, Harmon Hears a Moo, will be available soon — watch for it!

Get to know the folks behind the scenes at Muckey Landing! In this New Year bonus episode, Mike Polo (Virgil Slatter), Bruce Leister (Harmon Truesdale) and Chris Polo (Creator/Writer/Director/etc.) talk with Patti Gatto, who voices Doral Bernstein, Muckey Landing's uber-receptionist with an attitude. Second in a series.
Season 2 of Muckey Landing is finally here!
In our season opener, Harmon makes himself pretty for Vinnie Jean, Virgil's sexy little sister, who's coming to work at the store as part of her probation for whomping her ex-boyfriend upside the head with a frozen pork loin. While they await her arrival, Virgil and Harmon discuss Charles Berlitz, the biblical origins of modern language, the wisdom of buying cologne on the internet, and past mistakes. The unexpected appearance of an old nemesis sends both guys into a tailspin, while Vinnie Jean's arrival isn't everything Harmon had it cracked up to be.

In the final episode of Season 1, the fire crew cleans up as Virgil and Harmon hash out how they've come to find themselves under arrest in the back seat of Jenny Pilsner's police car. Meanwhile, police chief Cheefe and volunteer fire chief Bunny Slatter mull over possibilities; while their theories about the cause range from contrails to terrorists to spontaneous combustion, officer Jenny Pilsner believes there’s a more mundane explanation for the mysterious fires that have recently plagued the Muckey Landing-Ditchwater Lesser Metropolitan Area.

Harmon and Virgil rendezvous at the store and then head out under cover of darkness to boost Myrtle's erotic painting from the Fuzzy Duck gallery in Ditchwater. When Harmon gets cold feet on the way down, Virgil butchers a lot of Latin while explaining why what they're doing is perfectly legal. Will they really go through with it? Harmon's all in a lather about tonight's planned heist of Myrtle Myrkle's erotic painting from the Fuzzy Duck Gallery, but first, he and Virgil have to get through a regular workday. When six cans of ScrappyTime Scrapple Whip go missing from the store, Harmon swings into action to catch a suspected shoplifter, enlisting the help of Buck Firken, Muckey Landing's highly enthusiastic but impossibly dim rookie firefighter. Throw the Yoders, Flames of Fire and Grace Right Primitive Baptist youth minister Sammy Fraudiddler, Psycho Bob, and Doral into the mix, and it's a wonder Virgil still has his sanity!

Doral's finding out that being the morning deejay at RMUK, the local radio station, isn't exactly what it was cracked up to be, and Harmon's in a panic because he just remembered Myrtle Myrkle never gave him the painting she painted of the two of them "in flagrante erecto." Psycho Bob pops in to see Harmon, and Mabel Sprout stops by with alarming news about Myrtle's upcoming art show down in Ditchwater.
