Brian Leonard and Anthony Scandariato are the co-founders and managing principals of Red Knight Properties. Red Knight Properties is a boutique multi-family and mixed-use real estate investment company with a track record of building portfolios that deliver dependable cash flow and equity upside. By pooling our capital together, along with a select group of other investors via syndications and joint ventures, we can offer nimble capital for value-add real estate equity investments. 

Red Knight Properties currently has 65 apartment & retail units under management/ownership in Northern New Jersey and is under contract for an additional 74, totaling 139 units acquired in less than a year. Red Knight Properties also owns and manages in Orange County, New York. 

Prior to forming Red Knight Properties, Anthony Scandariato who graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics and Management, worked as an Acquisitions & Asset Manager Vice President for Vision Properties, where he was directly involved and responsible for sourcing, negotiation, and managing the acquisition of $600MM+ of Class A office assets. Brian Leonard graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree from the School of Management and Labor Relations. He also played football for the Scarlet Knights, where he managed to win two national football awards in 2006. He was later drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the second round and went on to play 8 years as running-back in the NFL.

Juan has been actively engaged in all aspects of real estate sales, investment, management, financing and construction for more than ten years. He has acquired residential lots, single family homes, and multifamily properties.

He has experience with residential as well as commercial, including individually owning and managing a 32 unit multifamily property. This has allowed him the opportunity to gain first hand valuable experience in running and operating a multifamily property.

His company, GenWealth Capital has ownership in over 1,900 units. 

Juan was raised with strong family values and a resilient work ethic. He graduated from Universal Technical Institute and worked for BMW for 14 years. There he led a team of 9 in the operations, diagnosis and repairs including mechanical, programming, and electrical complex systems. He is a personal student in Brad Sumrok’s personal mentoring program.

Scott Choppin is the founder of the Urban Pacific Group of Companies, a Long Beach, CA based real estate development Company, founded in 2000, that focuses exclusively on urban infill and affordable housing communities throughout California and the western US. Over the last 18 years, the company has developed nearly 1,700 units of unique to market urban housing communities throughout the Western United States. Presently, Urban Pacific has created a new housing innovation called UTH, which provides middle income multi­generational housing to urban families, while producing market superior yields on invested equity. Historically, Urban Pacific’s UTH projects have delivered 29% IRR yields on equity.

As well as real estate development, the company provides project and development services to major commercial businesses across the nation through its subsidiary, Urban Pacific Realty Advisors.

The Choppin family has been in real estate development in Long Beach since 1960, which includes highlights such as the development of the Long Beach World Trade Center and the 293­unit CityPlace residential development in downtown Long Beach. Scott is an innovator in the fields of urban housing, mixed use projects, and affordable/middle income housing communities throughout the Western United States.

Scott is responsible for the production of a recent housing innovation called UTH ­ Urban Town House. UTH is a new middle ­income multi­generational housing product which utilizes private equity to develop moderate ­income multi­generational housing for urban families in California. Since inception, Urban Pacific has produced IRR’s over 29% on UTH projects.

On behalf of its’ project and development services team ­ Urban Pacific Realty Advisors ­ Scott was responsible for the client acquisition of the San Pedro Fish Market Company, the 11th largest restaurant company in the United States, and largest by seating in California. UPRA presently represents SPFM in their anchor tenant role for the San Pedro waterfront redevelopment of the Ports O’Call project, as well as, a major waterfront redevelopment project on Alamitos Bay in Long Beach, CA

Scott and his wife Becky, have been happily married and together for 25 years, and are raising their 3 kids in Long Beach, CA ­ Sean Patrick 18, Dylan, 15, and Jenna 12. Scott and Becky’s three kids are the 4th generation of the Choppin family in Long Beach.
