Doug Geiken has spent the last 30 plus years in the maintenance industry. He spent 26 years working in commercial maintenance specializing in Johnson Control and Trane’s BAS computerized HVAC control systems. In 2017 Doug moved to Lloyd Companies Residential Property Management as a team lead in the maintenance department. Currently Doug is the Regional Maintenance Manager and oversees 10,000 units at 122 properties across South Dakota and Iowa. 

Doug has been instrumental in changing the maintenance system from a manger supervised group of techs to a Maintenance managed team that gives maintenance techs a career path to climb. He has also spearheaded the creation of an in-house training center with a full line of HVAC, appliances, electrical and plumbing training items. Lloyd Companies now has the ability to bring in people with no experience and train them in-house. 

Doug is a graduate of Northwest Iowa Technical College where he specialized in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. Doug is an active member in the South Dakota Multi-Housing Association serving on the maintenance mania & education committee and sits on the Solid Waste Planning Board for the city of Sioux Falls SD.

From a background in the residential real estate finance industry through the 08 market crash, Dean has built a luxury home services company with over 35k customers in metro Atlanta which led him to the challenge of solving a customer need that created what is now his latest venture, Kairos. It's a digital water technology company focused on asset protection and water conservation through a patented metering and leak detection system. Having personally witnessed the aftermath of over 3,000 water damage cases and working closely with insurance providers lends to a unique perspective on exactly why 14,000 water damage claims are filed every day. 

Mark Peele CAMT, is the Director of Maintenance and Construction with PRG Real Estate, a multifamily owner-operator firm based in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.  PRG is a leading multifamily operating company in the USA that acquires and repositions multifamily investments across the country. Joining their team in 2014, Mark coordinates the activity of PRG’s Maintenance and Construction Management and is responsible for Capital Improvements and Project Management with over 100MM spends for the entire portfolio. Mark has been affiliated with the apartment industry for over 30 years, is a Certified Pool Operator Instructor for the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) and also a proctor for the EPA CFC certification exam. In 2022, Mark earned the PHTA Instructor Award being recognized for being a Top 3 Excellence in Training Award.

Bryan joined Morguard Management Company in 2014 and is the Director of Maintenance. He is responsible for capital budgeting and project management, training and development, standardization of maintenance operations, emergency preparedness and response, and health and safety programs. After serving in the U.S. Bryan began his career in property management in 2010 as a groundskeeper. Since joining Morguard, he has held every role within the maintenance department. Bryan holds board certified designations in both Indoor Air Quality Management and Emergency Operations Professional through the American Council for Accredited Certification, along with an Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology Residential Advanced Certification from Wake Technical Community College. Bryan is a member of the American Council for Accredited Certification, the National Apartment Association, and has served on the Maintenance Council for the Southeast Florida Apartment Association. He is completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and pursuing his Master’s in Corporate Finance from Southern New Hampshire University.

With 25 years of experience in the multifamily housing industry, Jason started his experience as a Maintenance Technician and worked his way through the ranks. His previous job titles include Maintenance Director, Unit Reposition Manager, Maintenance Hiring Specialist, Maintenance Trainer, Facilities Director, Capital Projects Manager and currently he is the National Maintenance Services Director for Camden Property Trust.
