I just got back from the first two days of the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne where I had the chance to meet and interview the LEGO Groups Global Head of Product Lucas Reynoso Vizcaino (Not only the global best dressed dude). We spoke about the new LEGO range, Bluey and the upcoming Melbourne Demons Collab.

Doc and Luke are talking video games and pop culture. This week the boys talk about the recent impact of Cyclone Alfred on where they live, Death Stranding 2 has a release date, Bond must be british, and will we see a "The Last of Us III".

Luke is back and we talk the latest in gaming and pop culture with Avowed, KCD2, Baldurs Gate 3 and TV shows like Reacher and Severance.

I've been able to play Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 for the last month or so and was determined to show the patience and time that I wasn't able to give the first game, but that is required for these titles. I'll admit that I didn't love the first game and the result this time was that I didn’t fall in love with it straight away, but when I did, I fell hard.

A couple of weeks ago Doc made the trek to the Ubisoft Australia Offices to play a “work in progress” of their upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows. While there he spoke to Level Design Director – Luc Plante who has a really strong history in the gaming industry and he shared some behind-the-scenes information on how they made it. It's the return of Multiplay as we set up a new studio, the sound isn't perfect (a bit of echo) and we discovered some kinks we need to work out but as always we got together for a chat that has been a long time coming.

We chat about being gamer dads and finding the time to enjoy our hobby while being ever present for our kids, Luke tells us about a VR title that you need to play in a year where good VR games are few and far between. Marvel Snap is going gangbusters and we find out more about that and our feelings on the reboot of the DC universe, is it a good or bad thing that they have dumped the legendary Henry Cavill?

I did get to fanboy out a little bit by talking to Ubisoft's Associate Producer on the Mario & Rabbids games. You can tell he loves his job and playing the games you know he's good at it. The team behind the series has created one of the must-own titles on the Nintendo Switch and the sequel has just dropped. So join me as we take a glimpse behind the scenes of the process of making one of the modern era's best Tactical action games "Mario & Rabbid's Kingdom Battle" and the new and improved sequel "Mario and Rabbids: Sparks of Hope".
