Multiply Church Resource

Having trust issues? Let's talk about it.

Casey and Stephen take the mic to tackle the world's problems in order to resource the people. It's simple, but not simplistic: Trust God. Listen in and get resourced!

The historical narrative of the exodus story is one of the greatest revealer’s of God‘s character and our need for dependence on Him. This week’s message gives the Multiply Community a five part framework of this narrative for as well as ways to find hope in the desert.

On this week's podcast, we look forward and discuss the new season we believe God is leading us to.

This week, Pastors Sanchez and Casey conclude our vision rally by celebrating a new season of hope. We discuss the importance of resting, the celebration of Juneteenth, and the preparation of moving from Egypt to the Promised Land.

Pastor Stephen and Pastor Casey had to somehow make this thing happen without their buddy Pastor Sanchez this week so hopefully we did him proud. Last Sunday was a time to reflect, remember and reframe some of what we have been talking about all year, especially in light of yet another police-related shooting of a black man (Rayshard Brooks). We don't talk about these things because they are trendy, we talk about them because they are Kingdom.

In this week’s episode, Pastor Sanchez and Stephen shed some light on current pop culture, the progress of Multiply Church, and also help define holistic discipleship. Pastor Casey meanwhile rightfully sat this week out while at the beach enjoying some very much needed vacation with his family! Listen to hear about how Pastor Sanchez is helping people process our current cultural moment and providing resources for all people wanting to be a part of seeking restorative, redemptive Biblical justice.

This past weekend was a blur. Gatherings, Protests, Celebrations... and Julian joining in on the fun as we talked about it all! It Ends Now Charlotte meets Multiply Church; and they friends. Catch up on all the fun and be resourced along the way. Provocative. Energizing. Democratizing. Rich.

This week we had the opportunity to have a special conversation with George Metz from the How We Rise initiative. George is working on a Charlotte-based research project in response to the 50 out of 50 study that put Charlotte dead last in upward mobility. It was an incredible opportunity to hear about some of the work going on in our city, so listen in and get involved. Check out www.howwerise.org

The crew was back with a special guest who preached this past Sunday: Dr. Cassandra Jones. As a professor at Gordon Conwell and Executive Member of Multiply Church, we were excited to hear from Dr. Jones last Sunday and then spend an extended time on the Podcast diving deeper into her experiences and stories. You will be glad you listened!
