This week in their continuing New 52 Retrospectives Brett and Dain review Static Shock #1 and Green Lantern: New Guardians #1 and get into a deep dive about Green Lantern lore and their love of the mythos of the Lanterns. They also discuss Brett's opinions and first impressions on the anime series Fire Force and the charming, yet weird Kemono Michi: Rise Up!
Side note: We had some technical problems during the recording of this ep and a few minutes were lost due to droppage according to Audacity's alerts, so that's why it seems like a little chunk is missing in a couple spots, but hopefully not too jarring. Apologies and we will do all we can to prevent those issues going forward.
This week Brett and Dain are joined by Brett's awesome wife, Brea. She joined in reviewing The Flash #1, Demon Knights #1, and Red Hood and the Outlaws #1. We also discuss changes we would make to characters that would likely be unpopular and Dain gets controversial and heated about Batman.
This week Dain coaxes some anime insights from Brett about My Hero Academia as they discuss the series as a whole and the first two episodes of Season 4. Dain reveals to Brett his thoughts on the first couple issues of Thor: God of Thunder, and their New 52 retrospective series continues with two more reviews with Batman #1 and Justice League International #1
