In this episode, I am joined by the amazing Lauren Smith, body confidence queen and one-half of the @goloveyourselfpod.
We discuss everything from what body confidence/positivity means to us, the changes we all go through if we've had a baby or not, our love of Vinted and supermarket fashion (even if the lighting in the changing rooms is shit).
I also tool the opportunity to ask Lauren about season 4 of the Go Love Yourself Pod, who her favourite guest has been and who would be her dream guest!
If you are learning to love the body you're in I highly recommend that you give Lauren a follow on Instagram @itslaurensmithy, listen to the pod: https://open.spotify.com/show/6LH64lcJkMSlMB3wuEGvNf and join their Facebook community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/512729816871689

In this week's episode, I talk to Jack Pardoe @coachforparents.
After coming across Jack's satirical approach to fitness and parenting it became clear that his approach took account of the huge time limitations and temptations we all face as parents.
We discuss body image, diet culture and how our priorities change as we get older, focusing less on our looks and more on how our bodies function to serve our families and ourselves.
I definitely recommend following Jack for a healthy dose of parenting reality and fitness influencer satire. Jack works with parents to help them meet all of their fitness and nutrition goals, whether that be losing weight or just being fitter for their kids. He works both in person and online get in touch via Instagram or Facebook.

In this week's episode, I was joined by Cat Sims (@notsosmugnow), author of "The First Time You Smiled (Or Was It Just Wind?)", content creator, podcaster and mother of two.
We discussed what the Mental Load is, and her work around this, including raising awareness via her Instagram channel and the Mental Load List which she built to help her explain to her own husband exactly what this burden looks like to the default parent. (Get your copy of the list here)
We also discussed her sobriety, the experiences that lead her to seek sobriety and how her life has changed in the last 18 months since making the decision.
About Cat
Cat Sims is an author, content creator and podcaster who is still trying to figure the whole ‘adulting’ thing out.
She’s made a living out of documenting her failures and successes as a 40 year old woman, a mother and a wife across various social media platforms.
Her mission in life is to make as many women as possible feel ‘seen’ and to make them realise that they are never, ever, ‘the only one.’ She’s honest AF, wonderfully self-deprecating and willing to say all the things the rest of us hide away and, in doing so, managed to make us all feel a little bit better about our perfectly messy lives.

In an ever-evolving world, where traditional work structures are being challenged, in this episode, Kelly (@Kids_and_the_Commute) and I answer your questions and look at the advantages of flexible working arrangements for both employees and employers.
We discuss how employees can achieve a better work-life balance, enhance job satisfaction, and optimise their performance when given the freedom to choose when and where they work. We also explain why we feel this option allows employers to tap into the vast potential of flexible work options to attract and retain top talent, boost employee engagement, and foster a culture of innovation.
From examining real-life case studies, such as the global four-day week trial, companies in the US who offered employees unlimited holiday as part of their signing bonus and the concerning organisations are talking on their remote working policies (including Lloyds).
Flexible working is a right for every employee, Kelly and I hope to give you the tools you need to be able to ask your employer for flexible working.
Recently Kelly has transitioned from working in the corporate world for over 20 years to the world of self-employment, pursuing her passion as a content creator. At the end of this episode, we take some time to discuss what the future holds and how this allows Kelly to be more open in her work highlighting the rights for everyone to have access to flexible working and highlighting the work of other campaigners including Anna Whitehouse @mother_pukka and Joeli Brearley @pregnant_then_screwed.

It's been an exciting and anxiety-filled one I just needed to get off my chest.
With an impending house move on the horizon, some interesting feelings have appeared, leading me to conclude that I may not be over the last time we attempted to move house...
I'd love to know how you've all been feeling this week and if there's anything you've been dealing with too.
