Derek speaks about the way that God uses hardships to bring a change in the desires of the Christian, to change their actions, to prepare us for judgement day, and to bring final judgement on us.  God uses suffering to bring the Christian a Complete New Life.

Derek unpacks this difficult passage about the spirits in prison being judged by Jesus.  The cross and resurrection meant Jesus was confirmed as King over all, and thus He alone has the authority to pronounce judgement, bring salvation and cleanse the consciences of sinful humanity.

Derek addresses the subject of suffering and the way that God has ordained trials, hardships and suffering to bring about great good in the Christian life.  It is amazing to see the way that God has brought suffering into his own being!  This talk is from a break-out group in the South West Queensland Convention.
