Anthony Leigh Adams and Christina Adams met in their early twenties at a southern California beach club where Anthony was playing guitar and electric sitar with his progressive rock band. Christina, an accomplished vocalist, had just returned from touring India and Europe in a world music ensemble and was looking for local musicians to work with. When they met, sparks flew, and they’ve been life partners and creative collaborators ever since. Their love of travel led them around the world to explore the rich traditions of global cultures, which influenced their work in multiple mediums.
Christina and Anthony live on a hill overlooking one of their favorite beaches. While working on their laptops, they are constantly interrupted and inspired by their lovely calico cats. In their free time, they enjoy playing music and relishing gourmet food and wine in the company of their delightfully quirky family and friends.

Jeffrey Konvitz was born in New York City, but after graduating from Cornell University and Columbia Law School, he headed to Los Angeles, where he lives and works as an entertainment finance attorney, producer (The Sentinel and Spy Hard, among others) and novelist. His first published novel (Simon and Schuster and Ballantine) was The Sentinel, which rose to Number 2 on the New York Times Mass Market Best Seller List. The Sentinel sequel, The Guardian, was also a bestseller along with his next book, Monster. He is now at work on the third book in The Sentinel Trilogy, currently untitled, while The Sentinel and The Guardian are being mounted for e-book sales.
His latest historical novel, The Circus of Satan, is a story of murder and revenge. It is set during the rise of organized crime in America from 1900 to 1912 when the Irish Mob ruled all major American cities, only to be taken down by its own hubris and the rise of the Jewish and Italian Mobs into labor racketeering and, then, bootlegging. Filled with real events and real heroes and villains, who rampaged from New York's Bowery through to Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City and Boston, it is the story of epic, transformative times and two violent men, who meet on a descent into blood and Hell.
The author spends most of his spare time on tennis courts, on skis, on basketball courts, and in poker tournaments. The rest of his spare time is spent seeking the perfect word, the perfect sentence, the perfect phrase and the perfect characterization, a most challenging endeavor.

Lee Clark is a North Carolina native, originally from Raleigh, with family in Virginia as well. After working in the software technology industry for over 20 years, Clark decided it was time to pursue a true passion: fictional writing.

A self-confessed coffeeholic and chocoholic, Lee Clark still resides in North Carolina with her spouse, two mostly grown children who are in and out, and a small petting zoo of dogs and cats.

Though the Matthew Paine character is fictional, he was inspired by two very important men in the author’s life, brother Sean and son Will. Both will see characteristics of themselves in the Matthew character and identify with some of his struggles.
