Murder Pie

Andrea Yates is a name synonymous with child murder and postpartum psychosis. How did she go from loving stay at home mother to murderer and 5 children dead.

Nona Dirksmeyer was a beauty queen college student at the time of her horrific 2005 murder but who killed the 19 year old? Two people charged and 3 trials later and we still have no answers. Or do we?

It’s a mini! This short episode is about the dynamic due (barf) Charles Starkweather and Caril Ann Fugate, the killer couple who inspired the film Natural Born Killers.

Elisa Lam was a Canadian. That’s it. Now you know she’s an awesome person. Sadly though, she checked into LA’s Cecil Hotel while on a much needed road trip. Bad idea because the Cecil is like a fly trap of death. Once you check in, you never check out. The theories behind what or who caused her death are wild y’all.

Sometimes you just get into a relationship with an absolute crazy person. Unfortunately for the men in this episode they got involved with the queen of all crazy bitches, Katherine Knight. Known as Australia’s female Hannibal Lecter, she tortured her way through relationships eventually killing and serving her lover for dinner.

In December 1987 the sleepy town of Russellville, Arkansas was terrorized by a giant twatsicle of a man named Ronald Gene Simmons. He massacred his entire family then went on a shooting spree in town. This dude was sick and twisted and this story is darker than most.

In this episode I talk about the 1980’s horror movie classic Poltergeist and the rumored curse that plagues those associated with the film, most notably the doomed actress Dominique Dunne, who was brutally murdered at the hands of her douchebag boyfriend.

In the second installment of Murder in the Hills (even though this time it’s the delta) we return to Arkansas, to the funny little town of West Memphis. This is a multi parter as I cover the infamous West Memphis 3 case. West Memphis was caught up in satanic panic in the worst way, culminating in the murders of 3 little boys. The aftermath put West Memphis on the map, and resulted in the metaphorical burning at the stake of three misunderstood teenage boys.
