But Toni didn’t buy that story — and the day after she reported her concerns to police, she was dead.

Her boyfriend, Lewis Ray Greer, was charged with first-degree murder but acquitted after only four days of trial. With no weapon, no DNA, and conflicting testimony, both cases went cold — leaving two families with more questions than answers.
