 Easter is about so much more than rabbits that lay eggs in the yard. It's about overcoming. Easter brings forgiveness to the past, meaning to today and hope for tomorrow. Easter is about God overcoming what we could not.

 It was the day of days. Eternity hung in the balance as Jesus hung on the cross. Surrounded by anger, Christ suffered so that sinners may have peace with God. In the shadows of the cross are the stories of two angry men. One of these men found peace. The other took his anger to his grave.

 Judas saw it all: he hung out with Jesus, he was part of the 12, the keeper of the money bag. He had given his life to follow Jesus. But he was following Jesus with an angle. Ultimately his turning point came, and he faced a question that all of us must ask: "Do I follow Jesus for what I get from him, or do I follow Jesus because He is Lord?"
