In the Music and Film Saves the World podcast this week Chris Rice and Gaz Jones are once again going back to the 90s and the time of Britpop!  We dust off out old CDs and revisit the Blur V Oasis battle by ranking and discussing all of the Blur albums from 1991's debut Leisure, all the way to the unexpected comeback album of 2015, The Magic Whip.  The 2nd part of this will be available in a fortnight where we will be ranking the Oasis albums.

For all you 90s kids out there this is the podcast for you.  Chris Rice and Gaz Jones countdown their favourite albums from one of the greatest cultural movements of the last century: Britpop.  From The Stone Roses via Pulp through to Suede we talk about our favourite albums, songs and memories from one of the greatest decades for music.  This is a bit of a long one but I hope it will make you dig out your old CDs, listen to something you may not have heard for a while or even make you listen to something new.  There are a few surprises as we countdown our favourite Britpop albums ever!  There is no Oasis & Blur in this list as we have dedicated separate podcasts for them coming very soon.  

In this weeks episode Chris Rice and Gaz Jones pick some random subjects out of their hats and discuss them trying to get through as many as they can in an hour!  Some of the topics up for discussion this week include: Kate Bush, our opinions on physical media and go to karaoke songs!  Hope you enjoy!
