This week’s episode is a deeply personal one.
It’s been 7 years since my older sister passed on to be withthe Lord, and about 2 weeks ago I sat through another funeral that made me pause. I found myself asking: What will truly matter when our time here is done?
I guess that’s why scripture says, “It’s better to go to the house of mourning than to the house of feasting.” (Ecclesiastes 7:2)
In this episode, I’m sharing some raw thoughts on realimpact, not just the kind that trends, not the kind that’s showy, but the kind that stays and follows through. The kind that leaves fingerprints on people’s hearts. The kind that helps someone heal, grow, and become.
Seven years after my sister passed, her life and impactare still so obviously felt. Everywhere I look, I see a life she touched.I’m literally living in the advantage of some of the ‘deaths’ she died, sacrificesshe made just to make sure I got it right. And it’s not just me, countlesslives!
And then I sat in that funeral and heard stories of someonewho consistently sought the best for others, taking care of people even while she was ill, and living a life that simply overflowed with love without necessarily getting any credits for it!
It made me realize again how easy it is to be visible these days, but not truly involved.
Let’s talk about what it means to get your hands dirty, towalk with people through process, to be remembered not just for your platform, but for your presence.
I’d love to hear what this stirs in you, especially if you have a different view, or deeper insights. Please leave a comment, a review, and share if it resonates.
