Music Crush Monday

Here we are again, another Monday, another episode for your enjoyment! The Kevin generator picked unlucky number 13, but it turns out to be a band that Steve really only loves their first album through and through. The band has an interesting story and are associated with many other acts. Some members went on to more successful bands, which ultimately led to the bands demise. That’s what Steve says anyway, and from the looks of it on this episode, he’s a liar so maybe you shouldn’t follow what he says! Kidding of course, Steve is amazing!

The discussion leads to how important it is to have some albums like that in your life. Even if you don’t love everything the band put out, sometimes they will have an album that just speaks to you. What albums and bands are those “golden” albums for you? Reach out to us via the contact links below to have that discussion! We would love to hear from you! Also, do not forget to share this podcast with your friends and family so it can continue to grow.

It is hard to believe that 2018 is already coming to a close to being done! We loved that we were able to start this podcast and share music with you all. 2019 will be a lot of fun as we continue this show for you all. We will see you next Monday!

Happy Monday to you all and welcome back to yet another episode of the Music Crush Monday Podcast! This is a podcast where two friends review and discuss bands that they personally love and this week Kevin is back at the helm. A couple of episodes back Kevin mentioned he’s going to be dipping into the heavier side of things soon, does he stick to that thought?

This week’s band is not only a personal favorite of Kevin’s but also one that has had some success in the scene with two separate vocalists! There is a debate within the community of which singer is preferred. Do you have a preference? If you don’t know this band, both songs this week were sung by each vocalist. With the small sample size can decide which you like more?

Also, do not forget to head over to the Spotify playlist we put together each week for you to check the band out further. Be sure to check out the other links below to get in contact with us and follow us on various social media platforms. We thank you for your continued support and look forward to exploring more bands with you each and every Monday!

So on that note, we’ll see you next Monday!

Welcome back to the Music Crush Monday Podcast! We hope you’re enjoying the show and are tuning in each week. Kevin is up this week, and admits upfront he hasn’t really dove into the heavier side of bands on his list yet. Some here and there but nothing too crazy. So this episode is a little preview of what is possibly to come.

This week’s band has an interesting story specifically with the singer. In a way he has worked his way up from the bottom not once, but twice! Kevin has some choice words for his original band and was so against it and Steve even chimes in that the band had that reputation. To see where this singer was at to see where he is now is pretty amazing. Listen in as the guys talk about that among other things. So keep on keepin on out there! Be rockers through and through. Life is a garden, ya dig? See you next week!

Welcome back to the Music Crush Monday Podcast! Kevin is presenting the band this week and used a Random Generator to select the band and it ended up choosing one of his favorite bands that he “Super Loves” This week’s band played a pivotal role in Kevin’s musical journey. Excitement is all around as he gets to first struggle to pick the right music but then to share a band he loves.

Kevin has a background more in the metal scene and this band plays a specific style that incorporates metal and punk or pop/punk and bridged the gap for him between the different styles of music. So that opened up a can of worms on all sorts of bands to get into. Has there been a band that has done that for you? Getting into a band that got you into a whole group of other bands in similar style? Reach out to us and let us know what bands you are into. Welcome to Episode 30 of the Music Crush Monday Podcast! We can’t believe we’re already to 30 episodes already, can you? We can’t thank all of our listeners enough for listening and sticking with this show! Buckle up on this one because it is a good one!

Kevin is presenting the band this week and predicts early on Steve MIGHT know the band. One time, this band was on the Tooth & Nail / Solid State label, and we all know Steve relationship with that label.... Kevin was nervous going into this episode, but took an honest listen through all of what the band released he was still stuck on the first album he heard that got him into the band. Does this ever happen to you? Are there songs here and there that you like but it won’t top the album that you initially heard? You know the best part? That’s completely ok! There is no right or wrong on WHY or HOW you love a band. That is the beauty of music.

So now the real question is, does Steve know who this band is? Does he know before the band is revealed or after? How long does it take for him to guess the band and how many guesses does it take for him to get it right? Obviously that is way more than one question but all of these questions can be answered for you! All you have to do is hit the play button and listen in. Thank you again for joining us this week, we will see you next Monday!!

Welcome back to the Music Crush Monday Podcast! Steve has a GIANT list of bands that he created specifically for this podcast and so this list doesn’t even include other bands he likes or would want to play on this show. This particular episode was technically picked by Kevin because he picked a number out of Steve’s list. It wasn’t a random generated band, it was a Kevin generated band.

Turns out Steve has been wanting to play this band and fate said this was the time to play it this week. There is SO much to know about this band and their history, their story, and where they are heading. Quite possibly the most in depth band that has been on the show yet. Once you listen to this episode and find out who the mystery band is be sure to go to the links explaining this band even more. Do you know the story of this band? What do you think? Do bands who take this approach to their music intrigue you at all? What other bands do you listen to that take this same approach? Reach out to us and let us know! See below for the links to contact us directly and also the links to this week’s band below the disclaimer. Thanks for joining us this week and we will see you next Monday!

Here we are again! Another Monday, another episode, another band to listen to! Kevin is back to present this week and Steve’s getting the itch to unleash if needed! The 5 hour energy drink he had has kicked in and he’s amped and ready to go! Steve wants there to be more honesty and transparency on this show, if the band isn’t liked, say it! Does Steve follow through on this one?

Steve also doesn’t want his opinion to take away from Kevin loving the band and vise versa. How do you feel about that? Do you ever show a friend a band that you just love and if your friend doesn’t like it, does it steal away any love you may have for the band? It doesn’t work on Kevin this time around but it sure is possible. What bands do you love that your friends don’t? Reach out to us and let’s talk about it!
