It was a rough start today, the gang was informed one of their colleagues passed away overnight. This is one of those things that they just don't teach you in school.

Another week in the books and the gang has got a lot to say. Even Lisa has something! Tangents have become a trend but we like it!

Tangents are the name of the game today....Some Highlights though are coming out of a long Labor Day Weekend, Debating about Marching Band Class Rankings, and the first Marching Competition of the Season is fast approaching!

Week 2 and it's already Game Day for the football team and more importantly the first marching band halftime show! Also, a bunch of other topics because there is just so much happening already!

Summer is over and the gang is already 1 week into the 24-25 school year! So much going on already and it's still ramping up. Here's to an incredible year on the horizon!

Kevin is sadly gone again due to Track but luckily we had a guest on the books to speak with about themselves and their program! Madeline Wood is the band director from United High School, just up the road from M-R and is also the the District 2 ILMEA President. Also she is the super-fan extraordinaire when it comes to Music in the Making.

Hours after JH Org, the gang heads to Chicago for a unique trip combining the HS Band 6 Flags Music in the Parks performance, and immediately turning into the Music Department Senior Trip. It's late, we've been up since 2 AM, and Art's White Castle order was denied by 4 Uber Eats Drivers before arriving. What a trip so far!
