Nathan East is one of the most recorded bass players in the history of music with over 2000 credits to his name. He has recorded, performed and co-written songs with artists such as Eric Clapton, Daft Punk, George Harrison, Phil Collins, Michael Jackson, Toto and many others.

Greg Errico is a drummer and producer who most famously played in Sly & The Family Stone. He was only 17 years old when he joined the band when they released their first album, A Whole New Thing until There’s A Riot Goin’ On, released in 1971.

After Sly & The Family Stone, Greg played with artists such as David Bowie, Weather Report, Carlos Santana and many others.

Drew Silverstein is the co-founder and CEO of Amper Music which is a tool based on artificial intelligence that empowers anyone to create unique and professional music instantly. It’s a very cool tool for people who want to create music for their videos or any other application but might not know how to do it nor have the money to hire someone else to do it for them.

Having a tool like artificial intelligence that makes music-making easier and cheaper can be very valuable but can also be very disruptive to an industry that relies on composers for library music, for example.

However, technology will always make things easier and more accessible, so why should the music industry be immune to that? In fact, it never has.

Mansur Zennelli is one of the guitarists in the progressive rock band, Closure In Moscow. If you haven’t heard this band and you are into kick-ass riffs, songs and great progressive rock, check them out now.

I first discovered Closure In Moscow around 9/10 years ago and when their Pink Lemonade record came out I was hooked. I also saw them live at The Garage in London a few years ago which was awesome.

That gig sadly ended with them being robbed of their passports and then they played next to the terrorist attack that happened at The Bataclan, which left them ending their tour shortly thereafter. But you will hear Manny talk more about this in the interview.
